Joel Pedretti returns to the Governors coaching staff for his second season, assisting with the development of team’s infielders and hitters.

Originally from Merced, Calif., Pedretti played collegiately at Oklahoma. He began his playing career at Merced Community College where he was coached by his father, Chris. Pedretti was a first-team All-Central Valley Conference selection as a sophomore after batting .309 with four home runs and 23 RBI while leading the Blue Devils with 38 runs scored.

Pedretti graduated with a bachelors degree in history from Oklahoma in 2007.
