Nick Walker returns to the Austin Peay baseball program as a graduate assistant for the 2018 season after completing his player career as a Governor in 2017.

In his lone playing season with Austin Peay, Walker played in 51 games and hit 10 home runs with 39 RBI in 2018. He enjoyed a 22-game reached base safely streak late in the season which included a streak of six multi-hit games in an eight-game stretch.

A Spring Hill, Tennessee native, Walker transferred to Austin Peay from Columbia State where he played two seasons and batted over .300 in each campaign.

Walker graduated with his bachelor's degree in health and human performance in May and now is pursuing a master's degree in health and human performance with a concentration in performance enhancement and coaching.
