• Did not make an appearance during the season.

Career Recap: Scottsdale CC
As a sophomore in 2015

• Appeared in 20 games for head coach Alex Cherney, compiling a 2-2 record with 17 strikeouts over 19.1 innings for the Fighting Artichokes, who reached the NJCAA Division II Baseball World Series.
• Did not allow a run in three appearances during Scottsdale’s postseason run, including two scoreless innings in a playoff win at Phoenix College to help propel SCC to the World Series.
• Added three scoreless innings at the World Series -- tossing two scoreless innings against No. 1 ranked Louisiana State-Eunice in a first-round game then returning to add a scoreless inning against Connecticut-Avery Point.

As a freshman in 2014

• Began junior college career with a 1-0 record in nine appearances as a freshman.

Personal

• Cody Justice O’Brien is the son of Thomas and Theresa O’Brien.
• Born Sept. 29.
• Prepped at Red Mountain High School for head coach Ross Pagel and was both a catcher and pitcher.
• Has three siblings: Thomas, Morganne and Carter.
• A mathematics major.
