Career Recap: Austin Peay
As a sophomore in 2019

• Made 11 appearances, all in relief, striking out 15 batters in 16 innings of work.
• Did not record a decision or save during the season while being used primarily as a middle reliever.
• Made season’s longest outing at Eastern Illinois, May 11, going 3.1 innings in Govs blowout victory.
• Did not allow an earned run over four consecutive appearances, April 6-May 7, a streak that lasted 4.1 innings and lowered his ERA to 2.70.
• Struck out four in three-inning outing against Murray State, March 27.

As a freshman in 2018

• Made 17 appearances, including one start, in his first season as a Governor.
• Season's lone win came in OVC play with 1.1 scoreless innings of relief against Murray State, April 18.
• Made first collegiate start against Southeast Missouri, March 31.
• Twice during the season stitched together three or more scoreless outings.
• Went four outings without allowing a run near season's end, May 1-17, striking out three over two combined innings.
• Earlier in the season had three consecutive outings without allowing a run, March 16-21. Stretch included two relief outings against Murray State (one resulting in a win) and a two-inning outing in Govs win at Kansas State.

Career Recap: Belmont Hill School

• Pitched for head coach Michael Grant.
• Played for Show Baseball in Summer 2017, earning all-tournament honors at the WWBA 17U National Championship, seeing action in two games with three strikeouts in four innings pitched.

• Son of Brian and Denise O’Donovan and has three siblings: Seamus, Aidan and Addison.
• Born May 22.
• A finance major with a concentration in economics.
