• Prepped at Bob Jones High School under head coach Jared Smith.
• An All-State ASWA selection who helped lead his team to a State Championship in his junior season and a semifinal appearance in his senior season.

• Dillon Anthony Adkins is the son of Brian and Gina Adkins.
• Has one sibling, Taelor.
• His grandfather, Scott Lawrence, was drafted by the Orioles in the 16th round of the 1982 Major League Baseball Draft.
• Birthday is March 6.
