2022

  • Tied for team lead with 14 starts and made one relief appearance finishing the season with four wins.
  • Struck out 61 batters in 62.1 innings pitched, including 40 strikeouts in 34.0 innings during OVC play.
  • Tossed seven scoreless innings for season’s first win against Bowling Green (Feb. 26), striking out four, walking none, and allowing only four hits.
  • Struck out eight batters in a six-inning outing against Eastern Kentucky (March 13), allowing only one run on four hits and four walks.
  • Picked up third win a month later with a 6.2-inning outing against Eastern Illinois as he struck out five batters and allowed four runs on two hits and four walks.
  • Set career high with nine strikeouts in six-inning start against Murray State (May 8), picking up fourth win after holding Racers to two runs on three hits and three walks.

2021

  • Began season as a reliever before making first collegiate start at Eastern Kentucky, ultimately started nine games and made 16 appearances.
  • Led Governors starting pitchers with 4.05 ERA over 60.0 innings, striking out 54 batters and limiting opponents to a .229 batting average.
  • Particularly effective in OVC play, posting a 3.65 ERA in nine appearances (six starts), finishing sixth in the OVC ERA race. He also ranked among the league’s Top 10 in strikeouts per nine innings (5th, 9.49) and opponent’s batting average (8th, .236).
  • Closed season with a win against Morehead State in the OVC tournament (May 28), holding the Eagles to one run over 7.1 innings and earned OVC All-Tournament honors for the performance.
  • Held Jacksonville State to 0-for-8 with runners in scoring position in his 4.2-inning scoreless start (May 15).
  • Struck out career-high eight batters in 7.0 innings for season’s first victory against SIUE (April 24).
  • Made first career collegiate start at Eastern Kentucky (April 9) and struck out then career-best seven batters over 6.1 innings.
  • Austin Peay was 4-5 in his starts this season, and he received 33 runs of support (3.7 runs per game).

2020

  • Made seven appearances out of the bullpen, finishing season with a 1-1 record.
  • Allowed just one earned run in first five appearances before finishing campaign with a 1.84 ERA through 14.2 innings pitched.
  • Struck out season-best four batters over 3.2 innings of relief against Murray State, March 6.
  • Picked up first collegiate win in relief at Jacksonville, Feb. 29, supplying three scoreless innings.
  • Struck out two batters in two innings of relief against Bradley, Feb. 22.

2019

  • Missed 2019 season after undergoing Tommy John Surgery following 2018 season at Waverly Central High School. .

Prep Career

  • Pitched for head coach and Govs alumnus Jesse Cash (1987-90) at Waverly Central High School.
  • Selected to 2018 TBCA Class AA All-State Team.
  • Named District 10 Pitcher of the Year in 2017 after posting a 1.00 ERA as a junior.
  • A four-time All-District 10 selection.
