2024 | Austin Peay

  • Played in 39 games for the Govs, starting in all but one, finishing the year with a .365 batting average with eight home runs and 43 RBI.
  • Collected nine doubles and a triple to earn a .601 slugging percentage on the season.
  • Picked up his first hits of the season against Maryland Eastern Shore (February 23) going 3-for-5 and collecting two RBI.
  • Collected a hit in each of his next seven games tallying eight RBI over the span.
  • Went 3-for5 against Lipscomb (March 15) to spark a 16-game hit streak through April 26 where he batted .419 (26-for-62) and collected 17 RBI.
  • Hit his first home run of the year against Queens (March 22) which was his first of six ASUN home runs.
  • Had a five-RBI performance against Florida Gulf Coast (April 21) with a grand slam and an RBI-walk in the Game 3 series finale.
  • Went 2-for-5 against Stetson (May 4) with a double and a home run tallying four RBI.

2023 | Austin Peay

  • Govs Opening Day starter at shortstop and ultimately made 40 starts: 17 at shortstop and second base, four in right field, and two at first base.
  • Batted .275 in 41 games with seven home runs and 36 RBI.
  • Began APSU career with a home run in his first two starts as part of a five-game hit streak (Feb. 17-26) despite seeing limited action as he worked on his return from an injury. Batted .300 (6-for-20) with seven RBI.
  • Also had an 11-game reached safely streak to begin his APSU career, which ended against Purdue Fort Wayne (March 11).
  • Quickly began another reached base safely streak, which reached 28 consecutive games to end the regular season, starting the streak against Western Kentucky (March 14).
  • Against Vanderbilt (Feb. 28), he made his first start at first base since the end of the 2021 season at Iowa Western.
  • Hit a two-run home run in the Oklahoma State series finale (March 5) and provided three hits in the series’ final two games.
  • Had an RBI in four consecutive games (March 18-25), finishing with nine RBI while batting .375 (6-for-16).
  • Hit a three-run home run against Western Kentucky (April 25), his sixth home run of 2023.
  • Drove in season-best four RBI, including a three-run home run, in Govs’ Game 2 win at Liberty (March 25).
  • Had a double, home run, and three RBI in a 3-for-4 outing at UT Martin (April 12), the first game of a six-game hit streak that saw him bat .429 (12-for-28) with five doubles, a home run, and eight RBI.
  • Provided a walk-off double in the 11th inning of the Lipscomb series finale (May 14).

2022 | UT Arlington

  • Made 36 appearances, including 22 starts, in lone season at UTA and batted .236 with eight RBI.
  • Had an RBI in three consecutive games (Feb. 19-21) going 3-for-4 with two RBI against Texas A&M Corpus Christi, 1-for-4 with an RBI the next day against the Islanders, and as part of a 2-for-2, RBI effort against Michigan.
  • Went 3-for-6 with a run sored at Stephen F. Austin (Feb. 27).
  • Season’s second three-hit day came against Louisiana-Monroe (April 3), as he went 3-for-4 with a walk, stolen base, and run scored.

2021 | Iowa Western Community College

  • Played in 38 games for the Reivers and batted .274 with two home runs, 18 RBI and scored 32 runs.
  • Hit a home run as part of a 2-for-5, two-RBI effort at Iowa Central Community College (April 17).
  • Hit season’s second home run against North Iowa Area Community College (May 2), going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

2020 | Kentucky

  • Did not play during the COVID-19 shortened season in Lexington.

Prep Career

  • Played shortstop at St. Marcellinus Secondary School.
  • Selected in the 40th round of the 2019 MLB Draft by the Washington Nationals.
  • Was a member of the Canadian Junior National Team and the Ontario Blue Jays travel team.
  • Ranked the No. 58 player overall and No. 15 shortstop in the 2019 class by Perfect Game.
  • Participated in the 2018 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
  • Was a member of the Ontario Blue Jays under head coach Mike Steed.

  • Jaden Gordon Brown is the son of Nadine and Courtney Brown.
  • Birthday is Oct. 18.
  • Has a sister, Kennedi, who is a member of the Florida Southern women’s tennis team.
  • His father, Courtney, competed in track and field at San Jacinto Community College.
