Career Recap: Austin Peay
As a junior in 2016:
- A midseason injury derailed a promising campaign that saw her play 32 matches (99 sets) and start 22 contests.
- Started 17 of season’s first 19 matches and was named adidas® OVC Newcomer of the Week in back-to-back weeks during that opening stretch.
- Nabbed league’s Sept. 19 honor after posting double-digit kills in all four contests during the week, including a season-best 19 kills against Saint Louis. She finished the week with 67 kills (3.72 per set) and a .279 attack percentage.
- Grabbed the Sept. 26 newcomer award after posting 27 kills (4.50 per set) in APSU wins against Southeast Missouri and UT Martin to begin league action.
- From Sept. 13-24 pieced together a streak of seven consecutive double-digit kill outings, finishing the stretch with a team-best 94 kills (3.92 per set) and a .290 attack percentage.
- Suffered an injury early at Eastern Kentucky, Oct. 1, that caused her to miss two weeks and she would start just five times in season’s final 17 matches.
- During the second half, she helped Austin Peay pick up a critical victory at Southeast Missouri, Oct. 29, coming off the bench to post 16 kills.
- Saw action in both OVC tournament games, opening with nine kills and a .421 attack percentage against Tennessee State. Started the SIUE contest the next day and registered 11 kills.
Career Recap: Lipscomb
As a sophomore in 2015:
- Played in 25 matches (61 sets).
- Primarily a serving specialist, finished year with 22 digs and nine service aces.
As a redshirt freshman in 2014:
- Played in 13 matches (15 sets).
- Recorded 12 kills (0.80 per set) and six digs (0.40 per set).
- Posted five kills and a .231 attack percentage against Illinois State, Sept. 6.
As a freshman redshirt in 2013:
- Did not play and received a redshirt.
Career Recap: Friendship Christian School
Finished prep career with school-record 2,857 kills and 1,339 digs… led Friendship Christian to 2011 and 2012 Class AAA State Championships, including a 57-4 record en route to the 2012 title… PrepVolleyball.com All-America selection in 2011 and named to that site’s “Sophomore 79” in 2010 and “Fresh 59” in 2009… named to Tennessee All-State team four times (2009-11)… was a regional tournament MVP twice (2011, 2012), a district tournament MVP four times (2009-11) and a district MVP three times (2010-12)… also played basketball for her mother while at Friendship Christian.

Kaitlyn Brooke Teeter is the daughter of Deanna and Eric Teeter… born Dec. 2… Has two older brothers, Michael and Parker… Parker played football at Tennessee Tech… Mother played basketball at Belmont.
