2025-26 (Junior)
Earned one start across 32 appearances… Averaged 7.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, 0.8 assists, and 1.2 steals per game, while shooting 37.0% from the field and 73.9% from the free throw line… Scored in double figures 10 times… Reached double-figures in scoring in each of the first three games of the season, with 16 points against #19 Vanderbilt (Nov. 12)… Had a season-high 10 rebounds and six offensive boards with six points, two assists, and two steals in 22 minutes during the nonconference finale against Berry (Dec. 28)… Had 12 points and seven rebounds at North Florida (Jan. 3)… Had at least 10 points in 3-of-4 games from Jan. 15-24… Had a season-high five steals against Lipscomb (Jan. 17)… Scored a season-high 19 points at Florida Gulf Coast (Jan. 22)… Scored 12 points in 20 minutes against Queens (Feb. 12)… Had 11 points, four rebounds, and two steals in the ASUN Women’s Basketball Tournament Semifinals against Stetson (March 7).

Made 23 starts in 59 games played for the Senators… Had 15.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game… Scored in double-figures in 22 games her freshman season, with seven 20-point games… Had a high of 29 points (11-22 FG) against Volunteer State, Feb. 24, 2024 in her freshman campaign… Picked up 12 rebounds against Columbia State, Feb. 10, 2024… Shot 42.9 percent from the field her sophomore season and averaged 15.7 points and 6.2 rebounds per game… Had 26 games with double-figures, eight with over 20 points… Had a career-high 35 points (12-24 FG) against Cumberlands JV, Nov. 25, 2024.
Prep Career
Prepped at Warren County HS, where she surpassed 1,000 career points and was an All-District selection in 2023… Played for the Team Xtreme and TN Flight Silver AAU teams under coaches Robert Hayes and Les Newman… The 2021 All-Star AAU game MVP, 2021 Reebok Player of the Game, and the 2022 Battle of the Boro Player of the Day.

Kyra Tiann Perkins is the daughter of Shay and Alan Perkins… Has one sibling, Jayren… Born Sept. 7… Cousin Jessica Grayson played basketball at Austin Peay from 2002-2004… Also was a member of the Warren County HS track and field team… Majoring in Communications.
