As a senior in 2012 –
Anderson made 18 appearances, including five starts, and finished season with 2-2 record and 5.76 ERA... began season out of bullpen, his first five outings coming in middle relief with four of those five outings being scoreless affairs, he surrendered only two runs in 6.1 innings over those five outings...notched season's first start at Alabama A&M, picking up season's second win after allowing one unearned run in three hitless innings (staff outing), while striking out four... made relief outing against Dayton, March 10, allowing an unearned run in 2.1 innings in blowout loss... made season's second start at Memphis, March 13, and allowed only two runs over five innings while striking out a season-high five batters... suffered season's first loss at Ohio State, March 18, after allowing four runs over 4.1 innings and walking a season-high five batters... started Game 3 at Southeast Missouri, March 25, but did not get out of first inning, allowing three runs while recording only one out... threw ninth inning against Alabama A&M, March 27, allowing one unearned run... mid-season struggles (allowed 12 runs in 11-inning stretch, March 13-April 3) continued in brief outing against Belmont, April 3, allowing two runs on two hits and recording one out... threw scoreless inning of relief against Middle Tennessee, April 11, his first scoreless outing since Feb. 26 at Georgia State... struck out two but allowed one run in inning of work at Middle Tennessee, April 18... recorded an out at Tennessee, April 24, but allowed one run on two walks while striking out one... tossed a scoreless inning of relief in Game 2 against Jacksonville State, April 28, with a walk and a strikeout... started at Evansville, May 9, and threw a scoreless first inning but ended night allowing three runs on five hits and four walks over three innings... recorded two outs against Oregon, June 3, in NCAA Baseball Championship's Eugene Regional.
As a junior in 2011
– Anderson made 12 relief appearances and compiled an 0-1 record and 6.30 ERA… made season’s first relief appearance against Valparaiso, Feb.  19, allowing two runs on three hits… retired two of three batters faced at Arkansas State, March 12… allowed two runs (one earned) and recorded one out in three batters faced at Illinois State, March 19… surrendered three runs in outing against Middle Tennessee, March 30… allowed four unearned runs in one inning against Evansville, April 5… made first appearance in more than a month with one scoreless relief inning at Evansville, May 11… was Govs second pitcher to the mound at Lipscomb, May 17, and pitched one inning but left with bases loaded in the second inning.
As a sophomore in 2010 –
Anderson made 12 appearances, including one start… threw two innings, giving up two runs and striking out two at Western Kentucky, March 2… posted a solid 1.2-inning relief appearance against SIU-Edwardsville, March 7, giving up no runs and allowing three hits… threw one inning against Evansville, March 16, giving up one run and striking out one… posted a scoreless inning against Centenary, March 20, after allowing one hit and striking out one… did not allow a run while retiring two batters at Lipscomb, March 24… threw two strong innings at Tennessee Tech, May 8, allowing one run on two hits and striking out one.
As a freshman in 2009 –
Anderson made 13 appearances, including one start, and compiled a 1-2 record and 7.78 ERA… season began inauspiciously as he surrendered eight runs (two earned) at Lamar, Feb.  21, and three earned runs against Indiana State, March 4, totaling two innings pitched… rebounded with one earned run over next 4.1 innings over three appearances… was tagged for loss at Memphis, April 15, as he surrendered one run over 3.1 hitless innings but walked four and struck out four… bounced back 10 days later with season’s only victory in 3.1 innings of scoreless relief at Southeast Missouri, April 25… was tapped for season’s lone start in his next appearance at Western Kentucky, April 28, but did not fare well, allowing five earned runs on seven hits in two innings… saw action in Govs victories at Lipscomb, May 12, and at Murray State, May 15, surrendering runs in short outings both contests.

Career Recap: Science Hill HS
Played under head coach Ryan Edwards, a former Austin Peay pitching coach, was a pitcher and outfielder for the Hilltoppers… as a senior, posted a 12-4 records with a 2.35 ERA… helped lead the Hilltoppers to back-to-back Class AAA State Baseball Tournaments… selected to play in the 2007 Junior Sunbelt tournament which consists of the best juniors from Tennessee, Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Georgia and Mississippi where he earned the win for Team Tennessee in a 13-4 win over Team Oklahoma.

Lucas Anthony Anderson is the son of Margaret and Frank Anderson… born Sept. 10… has two brothers, Alex and Sean… a political science major with a legal studies concentration.
