Career Recap: Austin Peay
As a senior in 2019:
- Finished her Austin Peay career with 20 wins – the second most in program history.
- Started all 18 games in goal during her final season to finish her career with the second most goalie games played (59) and goalie games started (57) in program history.
- Made a career-high 84 to wrap up her career with the third most saves (207) in Austin Peay soccer history.
- Posted shutouts against Evansville, Sept. 15, and Cincinnati, Sept. 21, to finish with 11 in her career – tied for the second most in program history.
- Made three saves in a Senior Day shutout win over Evansville, Sept. 15, to earn OVC Goalkeeper of the Week honors.
- Made a season-high 11 saves on the road at Murray State, Oct. 20.
As a junior in 2018:
- Started all 17 matches for the Govs.
- Was twice named OVC Goalkeeper of the week, Aug. 21 and Sep. 11.
- Recorded a 1.24 goals against average while having a save percentage of .740.
- For her first OVC Keeper of the week honors, she recorded two shutouts against Middle Tennessee and Evansville to go along with six total saves.
- Contributed to three shutouts in the first three games of the season.
- Made 11 saves on the week and kept a clean sheet against Mercer en route to her second OVC Goalkeeper of the week award, Sep. 11.
- Made a season-high nine saves at SIUE, Sep. 21.
As a sophomore in 2017:Â
- Appeared in net 16 times for the Governors, starting in all 16 games.
- Shared time in goal with Lindsey Todd, before taking over the starting duties.
- Boasted a 0.757 save percentage on the season allowing 17 goals in 1410 minutes on the pitch.
- Made a career-high 13 saves in a 2-2 overtime draw against UT Martin, Oct. 8.
- Compiled 53 saves on 170 shots faced.
- Finished the season with seven wins and three draws.
As a freshman in 2016:Â
- Made eight appearances, including 6 starts, in goal for the Govs during her debut season.
- Finished the season with 432 minutes played, allowing nine goals while making 16 saves.
- Earned her first collegiate win against Evansville, Aug. 28, allowing no goals in her 45 minutes of action.
- Made a season-high six saves at Western Kentucky, Sept. 2.
- Converted a penalty kick in the Govs OVC Tournament match against SIUE
- Also made penalty kick in APSU’s OVC Tournament game at SIUE, Oct. 30.
Prior to Austin Peay
A premier goalkeeper at Houston High School prior to suffering an injury as a senior… named Goalkeeper of the Year as a sophomore, allowing only seven goals en route to the first of two state championships... as a junior, won Goalkeeper of the Year again after allowing just 13 goals… starting keeper to begin senior season… member of No. 2 ranked team nationally who brought home a second state title in 2015.

Daughter of Jennifer and Walter Powell… has four siblings, Austin, Emerson, Samuel and Michael… born August 27... a Psychology major.
