Career Recap: Austin Peay
As a junior in 2013 – Made 12 appearances as a pinch hitter… had three hits, each coming in OVC play where he hit .375 (3-for-8) and finished season 3-for-12… Hit double against Tennessee Tech, April 7… Also had hits at Eastern Illinois, March 15, and against SIU Edwardsville, May 18.

As a redshirt freshman in 2012 – Appeared in 10 games, all off the bench, and posted a .333 batting average with a double and one RBI… Made first collegiate appearance as defensive replacement at first base against Iowa, March 3… Played first base over final five innings of Govs 13-inning loss at Ohio State… Pinch hit in designated hitter’s spot against Alabama A&M, March 27, going 2-for-2 with a double and a seventh-inning single that was his first collegiate hit… Pinch hit in Game 3 of Eastern Kentucky series, going 1-for-2 with RBI single… Recorded a base hit in only at-bat against Jacksonville State, April 28, running hit streak to three games… Pinch hit at Oregon in NCAA Eugene Regional’s final game, June 3.

As a freshman redshirt in 2011 – Received a redshirt.

Career Recap: Karns HS
Under head coach John Rice, batted .490 with four home runs and 28 RBI as a senior… Made the all-district team and varsity lettered all four years.

Personal
Mason Parker Dillon is the son of Fred and Deana Dillon… Born August 30… Father played third base at Austin Peay in 1982 and his uncle David played at Tennessee Tech (1985-88)… Majoring in political science with a legal studies emphasis.
