As a sophomore in 2011-12: Appeared in 16 games, scoring 11 points...played season-high 16 minutes against Cal in opener.. grabbed season-high four rebounds in that contest...matched that total at Murray State, Feb. 11...scored season-best four points at Memphis, making only field goal attempted while going two-for-two at free-throw line...played double-figure minutes (11) for third time at Murray

As a freshman in 2010-11: Made college debut against Purdue, failing to score...played three first-half minutes against Oakland, scoring career's first bucket and grabbing two offensive rebounds...In first extensive action, scored eight points on 3-4 FG shooting against Fontbonne...also had six rebounds and four assists....tied career-high minutes with 15 against EKU, knocking down two free throws while dishing out pair of assists...grabbed five boards against Brescia in eight minutes of action...scored four points and grabbed two rebounds against UT Martin, gaining valuable first-half minutes...provided four solid minutes of action against Boise State in CBI....

In high school: Played center for Jeff Powers at Naperville North... as senior, averaged 8.1 points per game, shooting 51 percent from floor along with 35 percent from three-point range...also good free-throw shooter for big man, connecting on 74 percent at line...averaged 5.6 rebounds, 2.4 blocks and 2.6 assists per game...earned all-conference mention as senior for 20-7 team as well as All-Area honorable mention...selected to All-Area Defensive team... considered by Rick Bolus High Potential Recruiting as one of Illinois' top 50 recruits...as junior, averaged 10 points and eight rebounds per game.
