2022

  • Appeared in 18 games, starting five, and had a home run and two RBI in 22 at-bats.
  • Reached base in 12 of his first 16 plate appearances with a team-leading eight walks in that span.
  • Season’s first hit came as a pinch hitter against Boston College (Feb. 19).
  • In season’s first start against Bellarmine (March 1) he was 1-for-3 with three walks, a solo home run, and three runs scored.
  • Walked twice and was 1-for-2 with a RBI the next day in a start at North Alabama (March 2).
  • Started as the designated hitter at Saint Louis (March 20) and was 1-for-2 with two walks and two runs scored.
  • Came off the bench at Vanderbilt (April 5) but suffered an injury that permitted him just one pinch running appearance the rest of the season.
  • Coached first base during the Govs' weekend series at Tennessee Tech.

2021

  • Made eight starts, seven at designated hitter, and tied for the team lead with 20 appearances off the bench.
  • Finished season batting .171 (41 AB) with a double, nine walks and six RBI.
  • Went 2-for-4 with a RBI and run scored in start against Arkansas State (May 2).
  • Had pinch-hit 2-run double with the bases loaded at Bellarmine (March 23); improving to 10-for-15 with 22 RBI in career plate appearances with the bases loaded.
  • Was Govs’ starting first baseman against Middle Tennessee (March 16) and had a RBI ground out and a walk.
  • Started first two games of Tennessee Tech series (March 13-14) and was 1-for-5 with three walks in the series.

2020

  • Appeared in 13 games during the COVID-19 shortened season, starting seven, and was Govs opening day starter at designated hitter before making six starts at first base.
  • Concluded season with 1-for-4 outing against Western Illinois, March 11, walking once and scoring twice.
  • Had two run-producing base hits against Evansville, Feb. 23, going 2-for-6 with two RBI.
  • Broke out of season-opening slump with double against Bradley, Feb. 22.

2019

  • Appeared in 46 games and took over as the Govs designated hitter with 38 starts in first season with the Governors.
  • Batted .289 with five home runs and 36 RBI during the season
  • Led the Govs with a .350 batting average in OVC play and was one of four Govs hitters with 20-plus RBI in league action.
  • During the season, did his biggest damage with the bases loaded, batting .643 (9-of-14) with 20 RBI, including a pair of grand slams.
  • Led all Govs pinch hitters with six RBI in six at bats.
  • Hit a solo home run against Jacksonville State in OVC tournament, May 24, one of his two hits in the tournament.
  • Named OVC Player of the Week, April 22, after going 6-for-9 with two grand slams and 13 RBI in 12 plate appearances over four games.
  • Had seven RBI in UT Martin series finale, April 21, including his second grand slam of the week.
  • Posted game-tying pinch-hit two-run single in Game 2 of UT Martin series, April 20.
  • Had a pinch-hit walk-off grand slam against Southern Illinois, April 16.
  • Twice had bases-loaded base hits against Belmont, March 31, finishing day 2-fo-3 with three RBI.
  • In the Govs victory against No. 1 Vanderbilt, Feb. 27, entered game with the bases loaded with two out in the ninth and hit a two-run, game-tying single to help force extra innings.

Prep Career

  • Played third base and pitched at Spring Hill High School for head coach Paul Lamm, a Governors alumnus (2001-02).
  • Batted .355 as a senior with 20 RBI and took to the mound four times, finishing with a 1-0 record and 2.74 ERA.
  • Named to Tennessee Baseball Report All-Region 6 team after senior campaign.
  • Selected to all-district team as a junior and was a TBCA Region 6 selection and named to Southeast Shootout Team.
  • Member of 2016 Class AA State Champions, posted 3-for-3, five RBI outing that included a home run to win bracket and send team to state title game.
  • Selected to TBCA Super Sophomore Team after the 2016 season.
