As a freshman in 2012 – Appeared in 20 games… Made first appearance as a Governor as defensive substitute against Illinois State, March 19… Appeared as a pinch hitter and played outfield at Eastern Kentucky, April 22, and was 0-for-1 with a walk and run scored… Entered game at Evansville, May 9, as defensive replacement and walked in lone plate appearance… Appeared twice as a pinch runner in the OVC Tournament and scored run in Govs loss to Southeast Missouri, May 24… Pinch hit at Oregon, June 3, in NCAA Eugene Regional’s final game.

Under head coach Jason Portz, batted .338 as a senior with two home runs and 15 RBI while also walking 21 times and compiling a .485 on-base percentage… Perfect Game USA Top-1000 prospect… As a junior, batted .370 with 28 RBI and a .479 on-base percentage… An all-conference and all-area selection.
