2023 | Austin Peay

  • Appeared in 20 games and started twice, finishing with a 5-5 record.
  • Amassed 43 innings pitched while striking out 53 batters.
  • Govs’ Opening Day starter against Illinois State (Feb. 17).
  • Game 1 starter at Dallas Baptist (Feb. 24) before missing two weeks due to illness.
  • Returned to the Govs’ bullpen at Western Kentucky (March 14) with a scoreless inning of relief.
  • Followed opener Zach Wyatt in the Bellarmine series opener (April 2) and struck out six over 4.1 innings for the season’s first win.
  • Notched season’s second win with a scoreless inning of relief in Govs’ walk-off victory against Queens (April 16).
  • Struck out a career-high seven batters in a 3.2-inning relief outing at Jacksonville (April 21).
  • Had wins in back-to-back appearances, with Govs winning in their final at-bat at Jacksonville (April 21) and against WKU (April 25).

2022 | Austin Peay

  • Made 17 relief appearances, posting a 1-1 record and two saves.
  • Struck out 35 batters in 35.0 innings pitched.
  • Struck out five batters in a 4.1-inning outing against Bellarmine (March 1) that was his longest in relief since going 5.0 innings against Jacksonville State (2021 season).
  • Struck out five batters for the second time during the season in a 3.2-inning relief outing at Saint Louis (March 20).
  • Picked up season’s first save with two innings of scoreless relief against Southeast Missouri (April 2) that saw him strikeout three batters.
  • Season’s first win came in next appearance at UT Martin (April 10) as he tossed 3.1 innings of relief.
  • Struck out three batters in two innings of relief against North Alabama (April 26) to pick up season’s second save.

2021 | Austin Peay

  • A jack-of-all-trades on the mound for the Govs in 2021 serving as a weekend starter, long reliever, and midweek starter throughout the season.
  • Overall, he posted a 2-4 record and struck out 38 batters in 52.1 innings pitched.
  • Went 1-0 with a 5.12 ERA in eight relief appearances, striking out 14 batters in 19.1 innings pitched.
  • Provided five scoreless innings of relief against Jacksonville State (May 15), striking out three batters. 
  • Season’s second win came in midweek start against Bellarmine (May 5) with three scoreless innings of work that saw him strikeout three batters.
  • Notched season’s first win in season’s second relief appearance, tossing 3.2 innings against Belmont (March 27).
  • Began season as weekend starter making four starts in season’s first four weekends but could not pick up a victory. Struck out a season-high six batters in 4.2 innings in final weekend start against Tennessee Tech (March 13).
  • Austin Peay was 3-5 in his starts this season, winning each of his last three starts.

2020 | Austin Peay

  • Made six appearances and worked his way into midweek starter’s spot in final two weekends during first year at Austin Peay.
  • Picked up first collegiate win in his first start, tossing four scoreless innings against Southern Illinois, March 4.
  • Provided 2.1 innings of scoreless relief against Missouri State, Feb. 20.

Prep Career

  • Pitched for head coach Gregg Muhollen and helped Cardinal Mooney High School win Class 4A District 5 regular season title.
  • Made 10 appearances as a senior, with one start, and posted a 3.40 ERA with 24 strikeouts in 18 innings pitched.
  • Recorded 12 strikeouts in 10.1 innings of work over eight appearances, including one start, as a junior.
  • Also was quarterback for Cougars football team.
