Career Recap: Austin Peay
As a junior in 2016

• Made nine relief appearances, including five outings where he was final pitcher on the mound.
• Opened season with back-to-back scoreless outings. Retired three of the four batters he faced in a scoreless inning of relief against Southern Illinois, Feb. 23. Retired the side in order in one inning of work against Alcorn, Feb. 26.
• Needed just 10 pitches to retire only two batters he faced at Tennessee Tech, April 2, to finish game.

As a sophomore in 2015

• Made five appearances totaling 4.1 innings, compiling a 6.23 ERA.
• Did allow run in three of his appearances and did not allow an unearned run in four outings.
• Tossed a scoreless inning of relief, allowing one hit, against Memphis, April 14.
• Threw scoreless inning of relief, allowing one hit, in season’s first appearance at Middle Tennessee, March 31.

As a freshman in 2014

• Pitched 5.1 innings in six appearances, all at home, with three strikeouts
• Pitched one scoreless inning with a strikeout against Western Kentucky, April 29.
• Tossed one scoreless inning with a strikeout against Southeast Missouri, April 11
• Career Recap: Bartlett HS
• As a senior, posted a 4-3 record with one save in nine appearances at Bartlett.
• Was 3-3 in nine appearances, including four complete games, with 47 innings pitched as a junior.
• Compiled a 2-1 record in 10 appearances totaling 27.1 innings as a sophomore.
• Prepped under head coach Phil Clark.

• Shane Lantigua is the son of Nidia Lantigua.
• Born Nov. 21.
• A business administration major with an concentration in finance.
