In 2012-13 as redshirt sophomore: Appeared in 20 games, all off bench...played double-digit minutes seven times, including career-best 20 minutes against SEMO...grabbed career-best 4 rebounds against Berea...played vital role in Govs' first OVC win against Morehead State, tallying first double-digit effort in scoring career-best 11 points off bench, including a trio of three pointers...was perfect 4-for-4 at free-throw line against Eastern Kentucky...against SEMO scored 11 points, going 4-of-6 from the floor...also had two assists for fourth time on season.
As a redshirt freshman in 2011-12: Appeared in 22 games, playing 132 total minutes...saw first career action against Cal...in most significant career action, scored five points and grabbed two rebounds in 14 minutes versus Detroit..provided some defensive and offensive energy in loss to Middle Tennessee...knocked down his first career three pointers against MTSU...also had three steals in just five minutes...tallied first career assist at Memphis to go with field goal and two rebounds...played point guard for first time vs. Eastern Kentucky...appeared in eight minutes at TSU...saw 10 minutes of playing time against Tennessee Tech...played season-high 15 minutes in road victory at UT Martin...struggled finding range in season's latter stages.
In high school: Played for his father, Mike Greer, at West Carroll High School, helping lead team to district title and Class A No. 3 ranking in 2009-10...as senior was named McDonalds All-America nominee and Class A Mr. Basketball candidate...earned first-team All-State...finished season averaging 27.4 ppg, 9.0 rpg, 3.3 apg and 2.0 steals...shot 49 percent from floor and 70.4 percent from free-throw line...named District 13A MVP...selected to play in Tennessee Athletics Coaches Association (TACA) All-Star game...also chosen to play Golden Circle All-Star contest....finished career as school's all-time leading scorer...ended career with more than 2500 points and 900 rebounds...as junior averaged 24 points and 9.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game for West Carroll High School...helped lead West Carroll to a 16-8 record in 2008-09 and District 13-A championship...chosen first-team Class A All-State and was the 2008-09 District 13-A Most Valuable Player.
