• Recorded his first multi-home run game against Canada (April 18), where he went 3-for-3 with two homers and a walk, while driving in four runs.

• Thomas Joseph Costello is the son of Tom and Jennifer Costello.
• Has three siblings: Nick, Sydney, and Rylee.
• His father and mother played basketball and volleyball, respectively, both at San Francisco State.
• His brother, Nick, plays baseball at UC San Diego.
• His sister, Sydney, plays softball at Menlo College.
• His cousin, Ryan Kreidler, plays baseball for the Detroit Tigers.
