Competed in both indoor and outdoor track and field… was a First-Team All-Northern County in 55-meter hurdles… finished seventh at state sectionals in 55-meter hurdles with time of 8.04 seconds… posted nation’s 17th best time of 2009 in 200-meter hurdles (28.34) according to MileSplit US… finished fifth at state sectionals in 110-meter hurdles with time of 14.94 seconds… also competed in long jump… played summer baseball with the World Yacht Clippers, a wooden-bat league… compiled a 5-1 record and 1.76 ERA with 24 strikeouts… ended summer campaign with a complete-game three-hit, eight-strikeout performance against Massachusetts State Legion Champions.
