2022

• Made one relief appearance during the season, taking the mound against Evansville (March 16).

2021

• Made seven appearances, all in relief, and went 1-0 with four strikeouts in 3.2 innings pitched at Calhoun Community College.
• Notched win in relief against Freed Hardeman (Feb. 9), striking out two in a scoreless inning.

2020

• Made one relief appearance in first season at Calhoun CC.

2019

• Did not make an appearance in only season at Middle Tennessee.

Prep Career

• A pitcher and first baseman for head coach Craig Reavis at Siegel High School.
• As a senior, led Siegel to 2018 Class AAA state tournament and was 2-for-5 with three walks in three tournament games.
• As a sophomore, helped Siegel High School win 2016 Class AAA State Championship, earning the victory in the championship game. At the plate went (6-of-20) with four runs scored and three RBI over six games.
• Finished sophomore campaign with 7-3 record and 56 strikeouts over 58.0 innings, posting a 3.13 ERA.
• A two-time All-District 7-AAA selection and was named to 2016 Tennessee Baseball Report Super Sophomore Team.
• Also played football for the Tigers.
• Ranked No. 2 left-handed pitcher in Tennessee by Perfect Game.

• James Zachary Pearson is the son of Holly and Christian Pearson.
• Birthday is August 30.
• Has a sister, Madison.
