2023 | Austin Peay

• Appeared in 23 games, making one start, and struck out 36 batters in 20.1 innings pitched.
• Did not allow a run in his first three relief appearances, striking out three batters over 2.1 innings.
• Surrendered his first run of 2023 at No. 7 Vanderbilt (2/28) while facing five batters to end the seventh inning.
• Made his first start against Bellarmine (April 2) and struck out four batters in 1.2 innings.
• Struck out the side at UT Martin (April 12) while working around a two-out double.
• Struck out six of the nine batters he faced and did not allow a base runner in a three-inning outing at Jacksonville (April 21).
• Struck out three batters in relief outings against Florida Gulf Coast (April 28) and Central Arkansas (May 6).
• Tossed an inning of scoreless relief at nationally-ranked Tennessee (May 9).
• Did not allow a run over a six-outing stretch (April 12-30), striking out 15 batters in 8.0 innings pitched (16.88 strikeouts per nine innings).

2022 | Austin Peay

• Led the Govs with 23 relief appearances and paced the bullpen with a 5.74 ERA and 46 strikeouts in 31.1 innings pitched.
• Opened the season by striking out the only batter he faced after battery-mate Jack Alexander caught a runner stealing in Game 2 of the Boston College series (Feb. 19).
• Struck out five batters in a 2.1-inning relief appearance to end the BC series (Feb. 20).
• Credited with the victory after supplying two outs, both via strikeout, in Govs walk-off win against Bellarmine (March 1).
• Struck out six batters in 2.1 innings in next outing against Kent State (March 5).
• Struck out five batters and retired all seven he faced in 2.1-inning performance at Middle Tennessee (March 15).
• Struck out three of the six batters he retired in two-inning outing against Eastern Illinois (April 15).
• Set season-high with seven strikeouts in three-inning outing to steady the Govs pitching staff during SIUE series finale (April 23).

2021 | Motlow State Community College

• Appeared in six games in second season at Motlow State Community College, starting three games, and struck out 15 batters in 13.0 innings.
• Made season’s first appearance against Columbia State (March 20), starting and going two innings.
• Struck out a season-high six batters in two-inning start against Walters State (April 23).

2020 | Motlow State Community College

• Made five relief appearances during the COVID-shortened season, striking out 29 batters in 17 innings, walking only seven in first season at Motlow State
• Struck out career-high 10 batters in 6.1 innings of relief against Freed Hardeman (Feb. 25).
• Struck out eight batters in season’s debut at Northwest Florida State (Feb. 8), needing only 4.0 innings of relief.

2019 | Johnson University

• Made 27 appearances, including five starts, for Johnson University, finishing with a 4-4 record and 62 strikeouts in 42.2 innings pitched. Also batted .276 (29 AB) with four RBI.
• Ranked eighth among NCCAA pitchers with a .232 opponent’s batting average

Prep Career

• Was a pitcher for head coach Kyle Koeneman at Seymour High School.
• Helped lead Seymour to the 2018 Class AAA State Tournament, advancing to the final four. Was winning pitcher in tournament opener, striking out seven in three innings of scoreless relief.
• A District 2-AAA selection as a senior.
• Also played basketball for the Eagles.

Personal

• Zachary Kenneth Wyatt is the son of Jeffrey and Deanna Wyatt.
• Birthday is May 25.
• Has two sisters: Kara and Lindsey.
• His sister Kara is an outfielder for the Roane State Community College softball team.
