Career Recap: Austin Peay
As a sophomore in 2024:
- Earned her second-straight All-Conference honors with a Third Team All-ASUN selection.
- Second on the team with three goals and seven points.Â
- Fired three shots and two shots on goal in the season opener against Western Kentucky (Aug. 15).
- After missing five games due to injury, returned to the lineup and played 40 minutes in the ASUN Conference opener against Bellarmine (Sept. 19) before returning to the starting lineup one contest later against Eastern Kentucky (Sept. 22).
- Recorded Austin Peay’s first brace since Oct. 2019 with two goals against North Alabama (Sept. 26).
- Dished out her season’s lone assist at Jacksonville (Oct. 6).
- Tallied her third goal – and second game-winner – at West Georgia (Oct. 20).
- Matched her season-high with four shots and three attempts on net in the first round of the ASUN Chmpionship, Oct. 31, while also logging season-high 100 minutes.
- Finished second on the team with 26 shots and 14 shots on goal.
As a freshman in 2023:
- A Second Team All-ASUN and All-Freshman Team selection. She and Lindsey McMahon – a Third Team All-ASUN honoree – became the first Governors to receive ASUN postseason recognition in program history.
- Scored five goals, which led Austin Peay, were seventh during the ASUN regular season, and ranked second among the league’s freshmen.
- Led Austin Peay and tied for sixth in the ASUN with two game-winning scores.
- Second among Austin Peay’s forwards with 1,139 minutes played.
- Her five goals are the most by a Governor since Claire Larose tallied seven during the 2018 season.
- The first freshman to score at least five goals since McKenzie Dixon netted nine during her 2015 freshman campaign.
- Led the Governors with 21 shots on goal while finishing second with 34 attempts.
- Her first of nine multi-shot games came in her collegiate debut, where she tallied a trio of attempts and two shots on goal.
- Scored her first-career goal in the 53rd minute at North Dakota, Aug. 27, beginning a streak of three-consecutive games with a score, tied for the longest scoring streak by a freshman in program history.
- Scored an equalizer in the 69th minute at Chattanooga, Aug. 31.Â
- Concluded her stretch of three-straight scoring games with a 22nd-minute score against Morehead State, Sept. 3.
- Scored a goal– her fourth goal in a six-match stretch – in the ASUN Conference opener against Bellarmine, Sept. 14.
- Netted her second game-winner in the 83rd minute at Jacksonville, Sept. 21.
