2025 | Austin Peay

  • Started all 59 games for the Govs, 57 games at first base, and two as the designated hitter.
  • Batted .313 while posting a 1.006 OPS with 10 home runs, 15 doubles, and 51 RBI.
  • He had a .487 on-base percentage, which was supported by his 40 walks (7th in ASUN) and a program-record 25 hit-by-pitches, which led the league. 
  • His 434 putouts in the field ranked second in the ASUN, and he fielded 32 double plays, which ranked third in the league.
  • Reached base safely streak for 43 straight games (Feb. 16-April 29), batting .310 (45-for-145) with seven home runs, 34 RBI, and was hit by pitches 20 times in that span. 
  • Matched his career single-game best five RBI against North Florida (May 20) in the ASUN Championship, where he went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run, a sacrifice fly, and was hit by pitches twice.

2024 | Austin Peay

  • Started 36 games behind the dish of the 39 he played in, batting .375, which ranked fourth in the ASUN, and posting a 1.123 OPS.
  • Hit five home runs and 14 doubles while collecting 33 RBI over the duration of the season.
  • Found his way on base with 23 base-on-balls and 11 hit-by-pitches.
  • Collected a pair of sacrifice flies and four sacrifice hits, which tied him for the most on the team.
  • Was 5-for-6 in stolen base attempts.
  • Went 4-for-5 with a double and an RBI while scoring three times in the 19-12 win at Florida Gulf Coast (April 21) to close out the series.
  • Had 15 multi-hit games, which included a six-game streak facing Florida Gulf Coast, Eastern Kentucky, and Stetson (April 21-May 4).
  • Finished the regular season going six games straight with an RBI, including a 5-RBI game at Central Arkansas (May 12) where he blasted a grand slam to left field to open the scoring in the top of the second of the 11-6 win over the Bears.

2023 | Austin Peay 

  • Appeared in 29 games and started 23, with 20 starts at catcher and three at first base.
  • Batted .240 with three home runs and 12 RBI.
  • He hit a solo home run in his first at-bat as a Governor, hitting a leadoff shot in the seventh inning at #12 Oklahoma State (March 3).
  • Had two stolen bases as part of a 2-for-3 outing against North Florida (March 10), including a delayed steal of home.
  • Had two walks and an RBI single in final three plate appearances against UT Martin (April 4), scoring twice.
  • Hit a walk-off double and filled in the box score against Queens (April 15), going 2-for-3 with a double, sac hit, sac fly, and two RBI.
  • Set career high with three hits against FGCU (April 30), going 3-for-5 at the plate.
  • He drove a career-high three runs courtesy of his season’s second home run in the Lipscomb series opener (May 12).
  • His fourth-inning sacrifice fly at North Alabama (May 20) provided the game-winning RBI to help Govs punch their ticket to the postseason, and he finished the day 1-for-2 with a home run and two RBI.

2022 | Louisiana-Monroe

  • Played in five games, starting four, all at catcher in the season’s first month.
  • Notched hits in back-to-back starts, going 1-for-2 with a double at Ole Miss (March 1) and following that with a 1-for-3 outing against New Orleans (March 4).

2021 | Cowley College

  • Played in 41 games, batting .398 with six home runs and 63 RBI to earn First Team All-Jayhawk Community College Conference and Second Team All-Region VI honors
  • Helped lead Cowley to the KJCCC Championship, a Region VI title, and a fifth-place finish at the NJCAA Division I World Series.
  • Had a hit in all three games of the NJCAA World Series, finishing the tournament 5-for-14 with three doubles, and six RBI. He was 3-for-5 with a double and five RBI against Shelton State (June 1).
  • Debuted with a 3-for-3, six RBI effort against Northern Oklahoma College-Enid (Feb. 22) that saw him hit a double and a home run and score three times.
  • Also had a five RBI effort against Fort Scott Community College (April 30) where he went 3-for-3 with a double, two triples, walked twice and scored three times.
  • Hit two home runs and had six RBI at Johnson County Community College (May 7), finishing the game 4-for-4 with three runs scored.
  • Had an RBI in seven of the nine postseason games he played, a hit in six games, and an extra-base hit in five consecutive games.

2020 | Cowley College 

  • Saw action in 14 games during the COVID-19 shortened season and batted .344 with a home run and eight RBI.
  • Posted three RBI and was 2-for-4 at the plate against McCook Community College (Feb. 16).
  • Had a second three-RBI day and a home run as part of a 2-for-3 effort against Kansas City Kansas Community College (March 5).

Prep Career

  • Was a catcher for head coach Mike Dudley at Blue Valley North High School.
  • As a senior in 2019, named First-Team All-Eastern Kansas League and Second-Team All-State.
  • As a junior in 2018, was named Second Team All-EKL and Honorable Mention All-State.
  • As a sophomore in 2017, was named Honorable Mention All-EKL.
  • Started on varsity as a freshman in 2016.
  • Ranked the No. 3 catcher in Kansas and the No. 20 player overall in the state.
  • Also, a member of the BVNHS basketball team and helped the Mustangs to a fourth-place finish in the KHSAA Class 6A state tournament.
