Career Recap: Austin Peay

As a senior in 2021:

• Led Austin Peay goalkeepers with 11 appearances, nine starts, and 899 minutes in goal.
• Recorded a career-best seven saves at Lipscomb, Aug. 22.
• Made a pair of saves to record her first-career shutout in a 1-0 win at North Alabama, Sept. 12.
• Matched her career-high with seven saves in the Govs’ 1-0 loss to UT Martin, Sept. 26.
• Playing just 49 minutes in the second half and overtime at Murray State, Oct. 24, matched her career-high for the third time with seven saves in her final collegiate game.
• Recorded a career-high 42 saves and posted a .792 save percentage – the eighth-best single-season mark in program history – in her senior season.
• Finished her career ranked ninth in program history with 83 career saves, also ranks seventh in saves per game (3.46), sixth in save percentage (.776), ninth in wins (4), eighth in goalie games played (24), and ninth in goalie games started (15).

As a junior in 2020:

• Made six appearances and led Austin Peay goalkeepers with six starts and 518 minutes in net.
• Went the distance and made a career-high seven saves on the road at SIUE, March 5.
• Played 103 minutes and made six saves against Jacksonville State, March 9, to pick up her career’s first win in goal.
• Made a career-best 24 saves in her junior season and moved into ninth in Austin Peay history with 41 career saves.

As a sophomore in 2019:

• Logged 87 minutes in goal while making two appearances during her sophomore campaign.
• Made seven saves and posted a .875 save percentage in her two appearances.
• Started the second half against UT Martin, Sept. 29, making six saves en route to a second-half shutout.

As a freshman in 2018:

• Appeared in five matches for the Govs, contributing to a shutout against Alabama A&M, Aug. 24.
• Came in to start the second half against Murray State, Oct. 12, and made a career-high six saves to keep a clean sheet.
• Recorded a .769 save percentage in just over 172 minutes of game action.

Prior to Austin Peay
Was a four year varsity letter winner at Independence High School under David Cordero, leading the team to an undefeated season in 2015, and a first-place regional finish... was voted to the All-District team her senior season... played her club soccer for Tennessee Soccer Club under head coach Eric Bossman, leading the team to the 2015 and 2016 State Championship.

Personal
Daughter of Scott and Andrea Powell... has one sibling, Shane, who played soccer at Martin Methodist College... born June 7... an Information Assurance and Security major with a Computer Networking minor.
