2023 | Austin Peay

  • Govs opening day starter at first base, started 14 games and appeared in 20 during the season, including one relief appearance.
  • Hit the Govs’ first grand slam of 2023, and the second of his career, against Southern Illinois (Feb. 21).
  • Missed five games for precautionary reasons after suffering an injury in the DBU series finale (Feb. 26).
  • Returned to the starting lineup and provided two RBI and a double in a 1-for-3 effort to open the Purdue Fort Wayne series (March 10).
  • Hit a solo home run in Game 3 of the PFW series (March 11).
  • Came off the bench against Bellarmine (April 2), provided a pinch-hit RBI single, and scored a run.
  • Starting first baseman in season finale against Jacksonville State (May 26) and went 2-for-5 with an RBI.
  • Made pitching debut in relief against Lipscomb (5/13), facing two batters and not allowing a run.

2022 | Austin Peay

  • Opening Day starter at third base and started 53 games at the hot corner.
  • Batted .286 with 12 doubles, five home runs, and 32 RBI in 54 games.
  • Had a hit in all three games of the Boston College series, going 6-for-11 (.545) with a double and two RBI (Feb. 18-20).
  • Had three-straight multi-hit, multi-RBI outings (Feb. 26-March 1) in the final two games of the Bowling Green series and a Bellarmine midweek outing, finishing the stretch batting .467 (7-15) with two doubles, a home run, and six RBI.
  • Hit season’s first home run in that Bellarmine outing, going 3-for-5 with two RBI.
  • Had seven walks in a four-game span (March 5-March 11) walking four times in the home-and-home series against Lipscomb (March 8-9).
  • That four-game stretch was the start of an 11-game reached safely streak that ended at Belmont (March 26).
  • Pieced together a season-best nine-game hit streak (April 2-16) that saw him bat .375 (12-for-32).
  • Hit two home runs and had seven RBI in a 3-for-5 effort at SIUE (April 23). Finished the series with 10 RBI and was 5-for-15 at the plate.

2021 | South Carolina

  • Played in 21 games with six starts at South Carolina, batting .154 in 26 at-bats.
  • Made three consecutive starts at shortstop to end the season: the final two games against Tennessee (May 21-22) and the SEC Tournament opener against Alabama (May 25).
  • Went 2-for-4 at Clemson (May 11).
  • Had his first hit as a Gamecock against No. 1 Arkansas (April 23),
  • Walked and scored a run at Winthrop (March 2).

2020 | Walters State Community College

  • In the COVID-shortened season at Walters State, hit .309 with eight RBI and five stolen bases in 20 games played.
  • Went 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI against USC Salkehatchie (Feb. 2).

2019 | Walters State Community College

  • Helped the Senators to the 2019 NJCAA Division I World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado.
  • Hit .339 with 13 doubles, five home runs, 52 RBI and 48 runs scored in 61 games.
  • Named to NJCAA All-Tournament team after batting .500 (7-for-14) with three doubles, three RBI and three walks during the tournament.
  • Had the game-winning single in Walters State’s win over Navarro in the NJCAA World Series (May 27).
  • Opened NJCAA National Tournament with 4-for-4, four run scored performance against Cowley County (May 25).
  • Posted six RBI in 3-for-3, two home performance against Motlow State (April 28).

Prep Career

  • Played shortstop at Elizabethton High School for head coach Ryan Presnell
  • Perfect Game Preseason All-Southeast Region honorable mention (2017)
  • As a junior, was a Perfect Game Preseason Underclass All-America honorable mention and selected to Tennessee Baseball Report All-Region 1 Team.
  • Named to 2015 Tennessee Baseball Report Super Sophomore Team after batting .373 with 13 RBI.
