2025 ASUN Player of the Week: April 21

2025 | Austin Peay

• Played in 50 games for the Govs, starting 47 at third base, and finished the season with a .364 batting average, ranking fourth in the ASUN.
• Ranked in the top 10 of seven ASUN offensive categories, including a .728 slugging percentage (3rd), a .479 on-base percentage (5th), a 1.207 OPS (3rd), 54 runs scored (9th), 57 RBI (5th), and 18 home runs (T-2nd).
• His 14 home runs in conference play led the ASUN.
• Originally set his single-game best six RBI at Purdue (April 22), where he went 4-for-5 with a double and a three-run home run.
• Matched his career single-game best six RBI two weeks later at Morehead State (May 6), where he went 2-for-4 with a pair of three-run home runs.
• His first multi-home run game came at Eastern Kentucky (April 19), where he went 2-for-2 with a pair of walks and two home runs. His second homer was a game-winning three-run shot to right field in the eighth inning, putting the Govs up a run in the 7-6 victory.
• His first four-hit game of the season came against Middle Tennessee State (April 9), where he went 4-for-5 with a home run and a run scored while tallying four RBI.

2024 | Vanderbilt

• Played in three games for the Commodores as a defensive replacement.
• Singled in his first collegiate plate appearance versus Gonzaga (February 23).

2023 Vanderbilt

• Did not make an appearance in his freshman year.

• Attended St. Thomas More (Oakdale, Conn.).
• No. 5 overall prospect and No. 2 first baseman out of Massachusetts, according to Perfect Game.
• 2022 Perfect Game Preseason All-Northeast Region First Team.
• Named team captain 2019-22.
• Two-time all-conference selection.
• 2020 Rawlings/Perfect Game All-America.
• Helped lead team to 2018-18 Super 8 MIAA appearance.
• Has three brothers, Edgar, Bryan, and Christian.
