2024-25 (Graduate Student)
A Preseason All-ASUN selection… Made 14 starts across 22 appearances… Led Austin Peay with 56 offensive rebounds and 6.0 total rebounds per game… Second on the team with 13.8 points per game… Led the Governors in scoring five times and in rebounds a team-best nine times… Scored in double figures 13 times with six 20-point performances… Scored in double figures in the season-opener against Union (Nov. 4)… Scored 20-plus points in back-to-back games, with a 25-point, 11-rebound double-double against Southern Illinois (Dec. 14) and 21 points at Ohio (Dec. 18)… Scored 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the ASUN Conference opener at North Florida (Jan. 2)… After being held to under 10 points in four-straight games, responded with a 17-point, nine-rebounds performance off the bench at Central Arkansas (Jan. 23), sparking a stretch of five-straight games with at least 17 points… Had three-straight 20-point performances, beginning with back-to-back double-doubles at North Alabama (Jan. 25) and against Bellarmine (Jan. 30)… Scored a season-high 29 points with a season-high 12 made field goals at Eastern Kentucky (Feb. 1)… Hauled in season-high eight offensive rebounds in a 17-point, 10-rebound double-double against North Alabama (Feb. 5)… Came off the bench where he scored 18 points against Florida Gulf Coast (Feb. 13) and 15 points a game later against Stetson (Feb. 15)… Scored 11 points and grabbed nine rebounds at Bellarmine (Feb. 18).
2023-24 (Graduate Student)
The first player in program history to be tabbed the ASUN Sixth Player of the Year after starting in 14 of his 30 games during the regular season… Started 18-of-34 games throughout the entire season… Averaged 12.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per game while shooting 53.6 percent from the field… Hauled in a team-best 190 rebounds and 97 offensive boards… Tied for a team-best five double-doubles, four of which came during ASUN Conference play… After coming off the bench in his first five games as a Governor, tallied his first double-double, and his first of three 20-10 double-doubles, in a 21-point, 10-rebound performance against Sacramento State (Nov. 22) in the 2023 SoCal Challenge… After four-straight starts, returned to the Govs’ rotation in the ASUN opener against Bellarmine (Jan. 4), scoring 11 points and hauling in nine rebounds in 24 minutes… Had his best game off the bench in a 27-point, eight-rebound, three-assist outing against Central Arkansas (Jan. 20) on 9-of-11 shooting from the field and 9-of-13 from the free throw line, which was his second of four-straight double-figure scoring performances… Returned to the Govs’ starting lineup, where he stayed for the remainder of the season, in the Govs’ double-overtime victory against North Florida (Feb. 3), scoring a career-high 30 points… The game against the Ospreys also began a streak of nine-straight double-figure scoring outings… Had back-to-back double-doubles at Central Arkansas (Feb. 15) and North Alabama (Feb. 17). His game against the Lions included a 9-of-10 mark from the charity stripe… Ended the regular season with three-straight games scoring at least 23 points per night… Averaged 25.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game on 16-of-32 from the field across the Govs’ final pair of regular-season contests to earn ASUN Newcomer of the Week honors… Scored a team-best 28 points and hauled in 10 rebounds in the ASUN Championship game at Stetson (March 10)… His 53.6 field-goal percentage at the end of the season is the best by a Governor since the 2020-21 season.
Career Recap: Lincoln University of Missouri 2020-23 (Sophomore-Senior)
Was a finalist for the Black College Sports Network NCAA Division II Player of the Year Award and was a Second Team All-Mid America Intercollegiate Athletics Association selection during his first season in Jefferson City, Missouri after averaging 15.9 points and 8.0 rebounds per game while shooting 56.6 percent from the field… Started 19-of-20 games during his sophomore and senior season… Averaged 13.5 points and 7.6 rebounds per game as a senior… Sat out his junior season after returning to LUM midway through his junior season after transferring to UTRGV.
Career Recap: Kansas City Kansas Community College 2019-20 (Freshman)
Averaged 19.2 points and 9.8 rebounds per game in six appearances during his freshman season at KCKCC… Scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in his first-career game against Norh Iowa Area Community College… Followed his 20-11 performance with a 31-point, 13-rebound the following day against Ellsworth.

Sevon Witt is the son of Swiyyah Haynes and Ian Haynes… Has four siblings: India, Zoei, Tameya, and Khaled... Earned a bachelor's degree in wellness from Lincoln University of Missouri in the summer of 2023. Graduated from Austin Peay with a master's degree in health and human performance in the summer of 2024. Currently working towards a second master's degree in strategic leadership.
