As junior in 2009-10: Began campaign coming off bench...played total of 37 minutes in first three contests...after tallying six points, two steals and grabbing career-high seven rebounds against North Carolina State in Glenn Wilkes Classic, regained starting nod against Niagara...played 31 minutes and dished out five assists in APSU comeback win...remained starter over next 13 games...had five assists vs. Drake, while posting nine points...recorded third straight game with at least five assists, with seven dimes vs. Freed-Hardeman...matched then career-high with a perfect 4-of-4 free-throw effort against Ohio while playing 33 minutes...had season’s best shooting night making 4-of-5 field goals for eight points to go with six assists vs. Marian (Ind.)...recorded third straight game with at least four assists at Kentucky...also had three steals and five points against nation's No. 3 team...scored nine points, had four assists and three steals against Evansville...tallied nine points and dished out just eight assists–matching career high–in 22 minutes before fouling out at Missouri...also had just one turnover against Missouri’s vaunted pressure...nailed two free throws to force overtime at Morehead State, finishing with seven points...tallied six assists at Eastern Kentucky....scored season-high 14 points, going 5-of-10 from floor, against UT Martin...also matched career-best with eight assists...made it two straight games in double figures with 10 against Murray State, setting personal best with 8-of-8 free throws...was shifted back to reserve role at home against Tennessee State and remained reserve for all but two games during season's remainder...had five points and three steals off bench at Tennessee Tech...credited with career-high two blocks, but suffered a 2-of-7 free-throw shooting night at Jacksonville State...grabbed two steals to go with six points against Eastern Kentucky...tied career high with three steals against Morehead State...scored nine points off bench at UT Martin, to go along with four assists, two steals and zero turnovers...knocked down 7-of-8 free throws to finish with seven points at Murray State...also nabbed two steals for the fourth straight game....scored eight points off bench, including 4-of-6 at the free-throw line, to go with three assists and three rebounds at Tennessee State.... scored 11 points off the bench against Jacksonville State – his first double-digit effort since scoring 10 points against Murray State, Jan. 9...returned to starting lineup against Tennessee Tech, scoring five points and dishing out five assists...collected team-high five assists in OVC tourney first-round game to go with six points.
As sophomore in 2008-09: Moved in and out of starting lineup, his 86 assists ranking second on team...averaged 5.1 ppg overall and in OVC games as well...had impressive start to season at Evansville, scoring career-high 20 points on 4-of-5 three-point shooting...also had also had three assists and two steals in first college start...dished out five assists against Lambuth...tallied career-high eight assists in first OVC start at SEMO...in road win at Eastern Illinois, his only basket was a game-sealing three-pointer with 31 seconds left....achieved season’s best shooting performance, going 4-of-6 from the field, at Louisville for his second double-digit (10) scoring performance...endured slump during late December and early January that saw him losing his starting job temporarily...scored 12 points and collected two steals off the bench against Morehead State...regained starting job in home OVC game against Eastern Kentucky...scored in double-figures for the second time in three games, finishing with 13 points and 8 assists at UT Martin...scored seven points at Murray State in 58-57 APSU win, but undoubtedly his biggest play was tipping out a last-second rebound that secured the Govs win...was relgated to off-the-bench duty again in early February and started three more times rest of season...dished out 5 assists in home win against Tennessee Tech...scored 12 points at Eastern Kentucky, including 30-foot three-pointer to beat the shot clock late in the second half....scored in double figures for the sixth and final time at home against Tennessee State, tallying 10 points...finished with eight points and five assists at Jacksonville State while not committing a turnover in 22 minutes...made against Murray State in OVC tourney semifinal action, scoring eight points...also started OVC tourney title game against Morehead State, finishing with eight points, including hitting the runner that forced the second overtime.
As freshman in 2007-08: Played in all 35 games in first APSU season...endured typical freshman ups and downs...got off to slow start...scored just 14 points first in first 15 games before scoring 12 against Eastern Illinois...knocked down four-of-six shots in game, including a pair of three pointers, in season-high 18 minutes...also had season-high three assists in game...proceeded to score just 15 points in next 14 games...in regular-season finale broke loose for 16-point effort at Morehead State, nailing five-of-seven shots, including a trio of three pointers in 17 minutes...also had three assists in contest--matching season best–and two steals...played 12 minutes in NCAA regional tourney game against Texas.
In high school: Played guard for Jimmy Adams at Raleigh Egypt High School...as senior, averaged 16 points, 6.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game for the Pharaohs, who finished 30-5...earned all-city and all-region...was named district tournament MVP...also played in Memphis City All-Star game...ranked in the Top 25 Tennessee seniors, according to Rick Bolus' High Potential Basketball Recruiting Service..played in same backcourt as Georgia Tech signee Maurice Miller, Class AAA Mr. Basketball.
