Looking Ahead for 2009-10: Young forward/guard will compete for minutes in first APSU season…long-armed athlete can play multiple positions…possesses good shooting range but also has ability to create own shot…also has athletic ability to get to rim…has terrific ability to get off shot quickly in paint...has worked hard in weight room during preseason…combination of quickness and length plus added strength offers interesting abilities as a defender...learning discipline needed to play at college level...

In high school: Played for Rick Rudesill at Bolivar High School…averaged 16 points and 6.0 rebounds as senior…earned Class AA all-state honors as junior after averaging 19 points and 9.0 rebounds per game in helping Bolivar to 28-5 record and state tourney berth…also was named District 12AAA most valuable player as well as region MVP…earned preseason 2008-09 as Tennessee McDonald’s All-America nominee….named as one of Tennessee’s Top 10 prospects by Rick Bolus High Potential Recruiting Service while Tennessee Prep Hoops rated him 17th best player.
