A longtime asset to head coach Matt Figger at South Carolina, Treis Huggins has ascended to the role of video coordinator for the 2018-19 season after serving as the team's graduate assistant his first year in Clarksville.
Huggins spent two seasons prior to coming to Austin Peay as the head student manager at South Carolina, supervising 10 other managers and assisting the coaching staff with camps, recruiting visits, film, gameplans, travel and practice operations. Huggins was part of the staff that went to the 2017 NCAA Tournament and advanced to the Final Four, working with Gamecock standouts Sindarius Thornwell, PJ Dozier and Michael Carrera, among others.
On the summer camp circuit, was on the camp staff at South Carolina, Syracuse, North Carolina State and Georgia State, assisting campers and learning from Division I head coaches.
He graduated from South Carolina in 2017 with a degree in Sport and Entertainment Management. He also spent two seasons at North Greenville University, first as a student-athlete then as a student-assistant for the men's basketball team.
