Looking ahead to 2008-09: Extremely quick young point guard candidate will challenge for minutes in first Governors season...superb penetrator who has ability to get to basket...makes excellent decisions in transition...also owns solid perimeter skills...despite lithe size considered hard-nosed, intense competitor...has grown nearly three inches since Govs signed him a year ago.

In high school:  Played guard for Carl Reed at Nashville Christian Advancement Academy a year ago...averaged 24 points, 7.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game as senior...helped lead team to 23-4 record...named to all-tourney team at Memphis Thanksgiving Tournament...scored 25 points against powerful Oak Hill Academy...listed as one of Tennessee's Top 10 seniors entering 2007-08...as junior, averaged 14 points and 6 assists per game at Kalamazoo Central...also averaged 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals...earned first-team all-district in helping lead team to 22-4 record.
