Made 19 appearances off the bench for the Governors… Scored his season’s first points on a three-pointer at No. 9 Tennessee (Nov. 17)… Scored a pair of two-point field goals against Bellarmine (Jan. 30)… Scored eight points while shooting 3-for-6 from the field and 2-for-4 from three-point range at Queens (Feb. 20)… Scored a season-high 11 points, while also connecting on a season-best three triples against Lipscomb (Feb. 24)… Scored eight points with a season-high four rebounds and two assists at West Georgia (Feb. 26).

Spent the last five seasons at Lincoln Memorial, appearing in 113 contests and making 41 starts in the Railsplitters backcourt… After redshirting his freshman season, appeared in 18 games during his redshirt freshman season, averaging 2.5 points and 1.3 rebounds per game…. Saw exponential growth during his second playing season, starting 20-of-31 games… Averaged 13.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game, while shooting 49.5% from the field and 45.1% from three-point range… Logged seven 20-point scoring performances during that season… Averaged 12.1 points and 3.3 rebounds per game as a redshirt sophomore while starting 20 games and appearing in 31… Had the best season of his collegiate career as a redshirt junior, averaging 13.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, wile shooting 46.6% from the field, 41.5% from three-point range and 81.4% from the charity stripe, earning him Third Team All-South Atlantic Conference honors.

Attended Dohn Prep Acaemy in Cincinnati, Ohio for a postgraduate year in 2018-19… Averaged 21.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.5 steals per game during his senior season at Newport High School, earning a spot on the 2018 Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches East-West All-Star Basketball Team… Led the Wildcats to a 36th District Championship in 2017-18, the first district title for Newport since 1985… Ranked the No. 32 guard in the state of Kentucky by MaxPreps and a two-star recruit by Verbal Commits.

Me’Kell Burries is the son of Wendy Jane Burries… Has six siblings: Nalajah, Nilijah, Markell, Garfield, Emory, and Taylen… Born March 25... Earned a bachelor's degree from Lincoln Memorial in general studies in the spring of 2024. Currently working towards a master's degree in strategic leadership.
