2024 | Austin Peay

• Appeared 24 times in relief appearances in his final season with the Govs, finishing the year with a 2-3 record along with two saves after striking out 45 batters over 29.0 innings.
• Began his season with a two-inning relief appearance against Western Illinois (February 18) where he struck out four of the nine batters he faced and not allowing a hit to earn his first win of the year.
• Picked up his first save of the year in his next appearance at Mississippi State (February 20) where he threw 1.1 scoreless innings and struck out two.
• Nabbed his second save of the season at UT Rio Grande Valley (March 1) after retiring a batter on strikes in the 12-11 series opener.
• Struck out a season-best five batters against Queens (March 24) of the seven batters he faced over 2.0 innings.
• Had his longest outing of the year at Middle Tennessee (April 16) where he went 3.1 innings and struck out four batters and gave up just one run on a hit.
• Matched his season-best strikeouts in a game against Eastern Kentucky (April 28) where he fanned five of the seven batters he faced over two innings.
• Earned his second win at Central Arkansas (May 10) after throwing 1.1 innings and striking out a pair of batters.

2023 | Austin Peay

• Made 23 relief appearances in first season at Austin Peay, striking out 30 batters in 27.0 innings pitched.
• Notched season’s only save against North Florida (March 19), striking out two batters in a scoreless ninth inning. That outing capped a three-appearance stretch in which he did not allow a run while striking out four batters in three innings.
• Held Liberty to one run over 2.2 innings of relief (March 25) in the Govs’ lone win of the series.
• Provided three innings of relief in Kennesaw State series finale (April 7).
• He struck out 10 batters in his final six outings, totaling 8.2 innings.

2022 | Colby Community College

• Made 12 appearances, including nine starts, and recorded 47 strikeouts in 27.2 innings pitched, finishing the season with a 4-4 record.
• Recorded 24 strikeouts over 13.0 innings in a three-start stretch near the season’s end (April 19-May 3).
• Struck out a season-high nine batters over five shutout innings in a start against McCook Community College (May 3).

2021 | Colby Community College

• Made 16 appearances, including one start, and posted 16 strikeouts in 17.2 innings.
• Struck out three batters in a 1.1-scoreless inning outing at Cloud County Community College (April 24).

Prep Career

• Was a pitcher for head coach Brad Ganor at Saint Ignatius High School.

Personal

• Tyler Andrei Hampu is the son of Nicole and Michael Hampu.
• Birthday is July 14.
• Has two siblings: Hailey and Katelyn.
• His sister, Hailey, plays softball at Brunswick Community College.
