• Picked up his first win at UNLV (Feb. 15) after throwing 2.0 innings and striking out a pair of batters.
• Pitched a season-high 3.0 innings against Eastern Michigan (Feb. 21) and struck out two batters to pick up his second win.

Prep Career

• Prepped at Bixby High School as a two-way player.
• Hit .384 with two home runs, 11 doubles, and 31 RBI as a senior.
• Had seven strikeouts in five innings pitched.
• Helped lead his team to a Class 6A state championship as a junior.

Personal

• Patrick Jett Hope is the son of Pat Hope and Mike and Barbara Rea.
• Has three older brothers: Garrett, Carter, and Mason.
• His father pitched at OSU from 1986 to 1988.
• Both Carter and Mason were MLB Draft picks – Carter in the third round by Kansas City in 2013, and Mason in the fifth round by Miami in 2011 – and played multiple minor league seasons.
• Garrett played football and baseball at West Virginia and played five seasons of minor league baseball.
• Birthday is November 7.
