2023-24 (Graduate Student)
A two-time ASUN Newcomer of the Week… One of three players to appear in all 35 games, tied for the seventh most by a Governor in a single season… Led the team with 512 points, while finishing second with 116 assists, 46 steals, 187 made field-goals, and 67 made three-pointers… Led Austin Peay in scoring eight times and assists 13 times… Tallied 23 double-figure scoring nights, 11 20-point games, and two 30-point performances… Started the first five games of the season in the Govs’ backcourt… Began his Austin Peay career with a 23-point, four-assist, four-steal performance against Life (Nov. 6) on 8-of-11 shooting from the field and 5-of-8 from the perimeter… Scored 16 points off the bench against Midway (Dec. 6), adding six assists and a trio of rebounds… His performance against Midway also began a stretch of eight-straight contests with at least 10 points, and earned him a spot back in the Govs’ starting lineup over the next eight games… Logged his second 20-point night at #18 Memphis (Dec. 30), scoring 20 points, grabbing a season-high nine rebounds, dishing out five assists, and tallying a pair of steals… Played all 40 minutes in in the ASUN Conference opener at Bellarmine (Jan. 4) with 21 points, five rebounds, and five assists on turnovers… Supplied 20 points off the bench at Stetson (Jan. 25)… Returned to the Governors’ starting lineup for the remainder of the season in the double overtime victory against North Florida (Feb. 3) in which he had 22 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and two steals, while shooting 10-for-21 from the field… The contest against North Florida sparked a season-ending 12-straight games scoring in double figures of which he averaged 22.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per night where he helped lead the Govs to a 9-3 record in that span, earning a trip to the ASUN Championship game… Had a then-season-high 27 points on 10-of-20 shooting from the field against Queens, beginning a stretch of four-straight 20-point nights… Notched his first-career 30-point night against Lipscomb (Feb. 24), before again surpassing his career-high in the scoring column with 34 points on 13-of-23 from the field and 6-of-6 from the stripe in Austin Peay’s ASUN Championship Quarterfinals victory against North Alabama (March 7)… Dished out a career-high 11 assists in the ASUN title game against Stetson (March 10), the most assists by a Gov since 2013 (Demarius Smith, 12)… Led the Govs with 21 points in the season finale during the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Basketball Tournament against Alabama A&M (March 20).
Career Recap: Quinnipiac 2021-23 (Junior-Senior)
Started 59-of-63 games during his sophomore and junior season at Quinnipiac, averaging 12.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game during his Bobcats’ career… Averaged 11.5 points per game while making 47.4 and 35.1 percent from the field and three-point range, respectively while making 85.7 percent of his shots from the charity stripe… His 11.5 points per game as a sophomore were second on the team… Scored at least 20 points five times… Averaged 13.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game during the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament… Improved in nearly every statistical category during his senior campaign with 12.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game while making 41.7 percent of his shots from deep, starting in all but two matches for the Bobcats… Had a season-best 28 points against Rider.
Career Recap:Â Â Moberly Area Community College 2019-21 (Freshman-Sophomore)
Began his collegiate career at Moberly Area Community College… Averaged 17.5 points, 4.7 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game during his during his sophomore campaign… Score in double figures 19 times, while surpassing 20 points 12 times… Scored 12.0 points and 4.1 assists per game in 31 appearances during the 2019-20 season while shooting 43.6 and 37.9 percent from the floor and three-point range, respectively.
Career Recap: Hannibal High School
Hannibal High Schools all-time leading scorer with 2,153 points in his prep career… Averaged 30.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and, 4.7 assists per game as a senior… Holds HHS’ single-game scoring record with 50 points.
