2023-24 (Graduate Student)
Austin Peay’s single-season record holder in made three-pointers (113), attempted three-pointers (286), and minutes played (1,251)… His 113 triples tied for fourth in Division I for the second-straight season… Finished his collegiate career 30th all-time in made three-pointers with 393… Finished tied for fourth in a single season in program history with 35 starts and seventh with as many games played… Averaged 12.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and a team-best 39.5 percent from beyond the arc… Leader of the Governors’ three-point barrage which set the program record with 277 made threes and 768 attempts… Had 20 double-figure scoring performances and eight games scoring 20-plus points… Made a three-pointer in 33 games, multiple triples 29 times, and at least five eight times… Set the stage for his record-breaking season by tying the single-game record for most three-pointers made (nine) and attempted (16) against Life (Nov. 6), both of which had been held solely by Joe Sibbitt since Jan. 1997… His nine made three-pointers spearheaded a record-breaking night in the season opener, as the Govs’ 17 made three-pointers, surpassing the previous record of 16 during the 2016 OVC Championship game… Began his Austin Peay career by making multiple three-pointers in 11 of his first 12 games… Scored in double figures in the Govs’ first two games of the 2023 SoCal Challenge, beginning with a 13-point performance at UTEP (Nov. 17) and followed by a 16-point, seven-rebound outing against Tarleton State (Nov. 20)… Had another seven-rebound outing at Tennessee State (Dec. 2), while adding 19 points on five threes against the Tigers… Tallied his second 20-point night with 20 points, three rebounds, and 4-of-9 shooting from the perimeter in a 27-minute start against Midway (Dec. 5)… Helped lead Austin Peay to a Quad 1 win with 22 points and six three-pointers at Southern Illinois (Dec. 12)… Scored 14 points in the ASUN Conference opener at Bellarmine (Jan. 4)… Began a stretch of six-straight games with at least 10 points in a 20-point, six three-pointer outing against Central Arkansas (Jan. 20), which he followed with as many triples and 21 points at Stetson (Jan. 25)… Again had back-to-back 20-point nights, beginning with a 21-point, six triple, five rebound performance in the Governors’ double-overtime victory against North Florida (Feb. 3)… Hauled in a season-high eight rebounds while swishing 7-of-13 attempts from deep in a 27-point night against Kennesaw State (Feb. 8)… Recorded his first-career dunk in a 21-point game against Central Arkansas, while matching his season-high mark with three steals at Central Arkansas (Feb. 15)… Scored 11 points in the ASUN Championship game at Stetson (March 10).
Career Recap: Northwestern State 2022-23 (Senior)
One of six players who come to Clarksville from Northwestern State under Governors’ first-year head coach Corey Gipson… Was one of the best three-point shooters in the nation, finishing fourth in Division I with 122 triples and 3.81 three-pointers per game, both led the Southland Conference… A Second Team All-Southland Conference selection, broke Northwestern State’s single-season and single-game three-point record with nine triples in a 31-point performance against Houston Christian… Started 32 games for the Demons, scoring in double figures 27 times, including a 17-game stretch Nov. 14-Jan. 26… Knocked down multiple tripes in 27 games, including at least five 10 times… Shot 38.8 percent from the field, 37.4 percent from beyond the arc, and 86.4 percent from the charity stripe… Had his first of six 20-point outings with 25 points on seven three-pointers in a 64-63 win at No. 15 TCU – Northwestern State’s first win against an Associated Press Top 25 team… Recorded his first of two 30-point performances with 31 points against Louisiana-Monroe.Â
Career Recap: Missouri State 2019-22 (Freshman-Junior)
A three-year letterwinner at Missouri State, where Governors’ Gipson was the associate head coach… Started 75-of-90 games for the Bears, including 55-of-58 during his sophomore and junior season… Shot at least 35 percent beyond the arc during each season… Made 77 three-pointers during his junior season – the seventh-best mark in program history… Ranked sixth in the Missouri Valley Conference with 2.3 three-pointers a game and 10th in three-point percentage at 38.1…
Career Recap: Rock Bridge High School
A three-year letterwinner for Jim Scanlon at Rock Bridge High School… Led the Bruins to a 25-3 record and their first Missouri Class 5 State Championship during his senior season… Averaged 15.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game while hitting 80 three-pointers to earn Missouri All-State honors… Averaged 13.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game as a junior, leading RRHS to a third-place finish in the Class 5 State Championship… Rock Bridge’s all-time three-point percentage leader, making 47.0 percent of his attempts from deep.
