Played in 25 games, including 11 straight (started eight) to end season… averaged 4.9 points per game, but averaged 7.1 points in conference play when she made the bulk of her appearances… scored six points in OVC second-round contest against Murray State, March 1… posted 10 points and eight rebounds in OVC first-round contest against Morehead State, Feb. 29… had double-digit scoring outings in seven consecutive games (Jan. 23-Feb. 18), averaging 13.4 points per game during that stretch… scored 13 points in 13 minutes against Morehead State, Feb. 18… was held without a point or rebound in first half at Murray State, Feb. 13, but went 8-of-12 from floor in second half and finished with career-high 19 points and four rebounds… posted 11 points and a career-high three blocked shots against Tennessee Tech, Feb. 6… scored 11 points against UT Martin, Feb. 1, with 8 rebounds… led Lady Govs with 16 points in season’s first start at Southeast Missouri, Jan. 30, making 6-of-10 from the floor… became first Lady Govs player to record back-to-back double-doubles in 2011-12 with 10-point, 10-rebound performance against Tennessee State, Jan. 28, that also included two blocks and two steals… posted first career double-double with 14-point, 13-rebound effort at SIU Edwardsville, Jan. 23, as she was responsible for 10 of the Lady Govs’ 14 second-chance points and converted a basket on five of her seven offensive rebounds… finished with a point, block and steal in nine minutes at Eastern Illinois, Jan. 21… played nine minutes and recorded a rebound and blocked shot against Eastern Kentucky, Jan. 16…  credited with assist in two minutes at Morehead State, Dec. 29… led Austin Peay with then career-high eight rebounds in 11 minutes off bench at Bowling Green, Dec. 9… scored one point against Vanderbilt, Nov. 30… scored four points and grabbed 2 rebounds at Cal Poly, Nov. 26.

2010-11 (SOPHOMORE)
Played in 22 games, averaging 1.5 points and 1.6 rebounds per outing… opened season in starting lineup, posting season bests in points (six) and rebounds (five) at Purdue, Nov. 12, in WNIT opener… saw extended time off bench at Chattanooga, Nov. 23, handing out career-best three assists while scoring two points and grabbing four rebounds in 11 minutes…  two games later was called upon to play significant time due to starting frontcourt’s foul trouble at Southern Illinois, Nov. 28, playing season-high 20 minutes and finishing game with two steals and three rebounds… scored in three consecutive outings around beginning of the New Year… scored two points at Pittsburgh, Dec. 28… had season’s best all-round effort at UAB, Jan. 2, with three points, five rebounds and a steal in just nine minutes of action… followed that with four-point, four-rebound outing at UT Martin, Jan. 6… scored four points and grabbed two rebounds on each leg of the Jacksonville State-Tennessee Tech swing, Feb. 17 and 19… saw action in Lady Govs’ final two games of OVC Tournament, scoring two points against Eastern Illinois, March 3, and grabbing two rebounds against Tennessee Tech, March 4, while recording a steal in each outing.

2009-10 (FRESHMAN)
Used freshman season to acclimate herself to college game… appeared in 15 games for total of 100 minutes… opened freshman campaign with two points – making first collegiate field goal – a rebound and a blocked shot against Chattanooga in 10 minutes… .played in season’s first five games, scoring five points and grabbing five rebounds along way… appeared in 14 minutes against Eastern Illinois, Dec. 5, when other APSU post players incurred foul troubles… enjoyed season’s finest performance in road loss at Troy… her eight points on 3-of-4 field goals, in seven minutes tied for team lead… also had five rebounds… played eight minutes at Xavier and provided significant off-the-bench performance at Eastern Kentucky, Jan. 4… .played sparingly over the next month… played in both Tennessee State contests when foul troubles opened door for playing time… appeared in final two regular-season games against Eastern Illinois and Southeast Missouri… hit two free throws against EIU to go with four rebounds and steals… collected a point and rebound at SEMO.

PREP CAREER
At Belleville West High School under head coach Clayton Fisher, Hill averaged 14.3 points and 7.6 rebounds per game as a senior… was a fourth-team all-state selection by Illinois Basketball Services, a News-Gazette special mention all-state selection and a member of Class 4A honorable mention squad by Illinois High School Association… finished prep career with 1,055 points and 637 rebounds… averaged 12.2 points and 7.8 rebounds per game as a junior and was a second-team all-conference selection… also was an outstanding student academically, ranked 29th out of her class of 512 and a member of the National Honor Society and the National Council on Youth Leadership… she also competed in shot put and discus and was a state qualifier in the shot put as a junior.

Kaitlyn Hill is the daughter of Robert and Debra Hill… born March 6… has a younger brother, Austin.
