Played in 24 games… averaged 2.1 points per game… played 31 minutes in first three games, scoring five points, before minutes became reduced over next month… saw minutes increase as 2008 closed… she scored six points in nine minutes on a pair of field goals and two free throws at Elon… Jones scored five more points off bench, including a three pointer, against Eastern Kentucky as New Year opened… in late January, played season-high 13 minutes against Jacksonville State, going 2-for-2 from three-point range for six points while grabbing season-high three rebounds… in home victory against UT Martin, Jones scored a season-high nine points, including 2-of-3 from three-point territory… followed that up with four-point outings against Murray State and Tennessee State… Jones did not play in first two games of the OVC tournament but provided nine productive minutes in title game against Eastern Illinois, scoring three points… made only field-goal attempt against Duke in NCAA Tournament outing, finishing with two points in five minutes played.

At South Oldham High School under head coach Frank Wright finished her career with 2,106 points, averaging 15.6 points per game... averaged 21.3 points and 5.2 rebounds per game as a senior... ranked first among all Kentucky basketball players in free-throw percentage (87.7 percent) and 16th in scoring... played in both  2008 Kentucky-Indiana All-Star Game and 2008 Ohio-Kentucky All-Star Game... averaged 21.1 points as a junior – among the top 20 in scoring in Kentucky in 2006-07 – 5.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game... made 45 percent of her field-goal attempts and 36 percent of her three-point field goals – also among the top 20 in Kentucky... was a four-time All-District 29 selection and has been named to the All-Region 8 and all-region tournament teams three times... was a Louisville Courier-Journal Third-Team All-State selection in 2008 after being an honorable mention selection in both 2006 and 2007... is ranked in five different categories in Kentucky High School Athletics Association record book... seventh all-time in career free-throw percentage (81.7 percent)... fourth in single-season free-throw percentage (87.7 percent, 2007-08)... 14th in career free throws made (617)... also holds record for most points scored in a quarter (20).
