Biography
As a redshirt junior in 2014:
- Started all 18 games as a defender.
- Recorded second career goal on Oct. 26 at UT Martin.
- Finished the campaign with four shots, two on goal.
As a junior in 2013:
- Injury cost her all but two matches in 2013.
- Saw action against Chattanooga and Appalachian State before being shut down the rest of the season.
As a sophomore in 2012:
- Started all 21 contests and was third among Lady Govs with 1637 minutes - an average of 80 per match.
- Played every minute of a match on six occasions.
- Attempted two shots, put one on goal and scored a goal, all career-firsts, at UALR, Aug. 19.
- Picked up first career assist on a 56th-minute Emily Perkins goal against Chattanooga, Sept. 2.
As a freshman in 2011:
- Started 16 times in 18 matches.
- Played 1429 minutes, most among Austin Peay freshmen.
- Primarily used as centerback, but played well to either side.
- Played the full contest on 12 occasions, including five consecutive games from Sept. 9 to Sept. 23.
High School: Played at McMinn County High School, where she was an All-State selection as a senior... named all-district and all-region four times... selected as District 5 Most Valuable Player as a senior... graduated as school's all-time leader in assists (56) and goals (56).
Personal: Daughter of Bob and Julie Van Wagner...majoring in social work.
