Career Recap: Wyoming High School / MVP Elite Club / Longwood University

First team all-conference 2023, First team all-region 2023, Four-year letter, additionally played Soccer and Basketball. MVP Elite All MVP 2023 team Captain with 73 draw controls, 53 goals, and 31 assists. 

Played in 17 matches with 13 starts in her freshman season at Longwood, secured 29 draw control. Helped Longwood tie a team record with five Big South wins and advance to the Big South playoffs for the first time since 2019. Had three Cause Turnovers and one ground ball. Posted a season-best six Draw Controls on March 9 at Youngstown State. Had five Draw Controls on March 30 at Presbyterian. Played in 3 games starting 2 before a season-ending injury. Had 1 ground ball and 3 draw controls. Had her first career goal against Old Dominion (Feb. 7). 

Personal

Kearston is the daughter of Kesha and Shawn. Kearston chose Austin Peay because it felt like the perfect fit both on and off the field. The coaches were incredibly supportive and made her feel welcomed right away, which played a big role in her decision.. Kearston also found the learning environment to be a great fit for her academic goals, and the people she has met so far have been genuinely kind and uplifting. "Everything about Austin Peay made it feel like home".
