Career Recap: Notre Dame College School & Cushing Academy / Saint Francis University

At Cushing Academy, Makenna scored 31 goals with 27 assists for 58 points in her senior year (Cushing Academy). Makenna was additionally the captain for Cushing academy team 2021/22.

At the Notre Dame College Makenna was a four-year letter winner and a two-term captain for Notre Dame College school.

 Makenna achieved 27 goals, 20 assists, 47 total games won, 34 ground balls, 8 caused turnovers, 2 draw controls. Makenna was awarded the Heart & Hustle Award, Saint Francis University 2025 Prime Performer x3, Saint Francis University 2025 Most Improved player Saint Francis University 2025. 

Personal

Makenna is the daughter of Carrie and Lance Patten. Makenna has one sister Sydney Patten (25). Makenna chose Austin Peay because of the unique opportunity to be a part of a building a brand-new women’s lacrosse program from the ground up. She is excited to make history and help lay the foundation for future success. Coach Rausch’s vision, leadership, and passion for the game were major factors in her decision- her energy and commitment to developing a strong, competitive team made an impression on her. She is proud to be a part of this journey and to represent APSU.
