As a senior in 2019

• Appeared in 35 games, including 13 starts at catcher.
• Batted .239 with two home runs and nine RBI while posting a .357 on-base percentage. Posted a .320 batting average in 17 games during the season’s second half.
• Hit season’s home runs in final month: May 5 against Jacksonville and May 11 at Eastern Illinois.
• Opened UT Martin series with 2-for-3 effort that included a sac bunt and RBI, April 20.
• Starting at catcher, went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI against Evansville, April 9.
• Posted 2-for-4 outing against Murray State, May 27, with a RBI double.
• His game-tying RBI single at Western Kentucky, March 19, provided his first hit and RBI of 2019.
• Tied APSU single-game record with four walks against Lipscomb, March 5.

As a junior in 2018

• Saw action in 44 games, making 27 starts at catcher and one at designated hitter.
• Was a reliable bat off the bench, supplying a team-leading seven RBI in 13 plate appearances off the bench, going 4-for-10 as a reserve. Hit a two-run home run, had a bases-loaded walk and scored three times against Lipscomb, May 8,
• Had pinch-hit three-run home run in Game 2 of Morehead State series (4/21), the Govs’ first pinch-hit home run of the season.
• Pieced together a six-game hit streak, March 16-25, that saw him bat .348 (8-23) with three doubles, a home run, and eight RBI.
• Had three RBI in two starts against Tennessee Tech, March 23 & 25, including two RBI in Game 2 of series when he started at designated hitter.
• Notched third career three-hit game at Kansas State, March 20, that included his fifth-career home run and two RBI.
• Tied career high with three RBI courtesy a bases-clearing double off the bench in Murray State series finale, March 18.

As a sophomore in 2017

• Appeared in 37 games, making 18 starts at catcher, and was Austin Peay’s opening day starter at catcher for second consecutive season.
• Hit three home runs and had eight RBI during the season, posting a .310 on-base percentage with nine walks.
• Did damage as a pinch hitter, going 3-for-5 in the role with four RBI.
• Hit pinch-hit three-run home run in series opener at UT Martin, April 28.
• Tied career-high with three hits off the bench against Evansville, May 9.
• Hit season’s second home run to leadoff second innings at Murray State, March 18, then was walked twice, hit by a pitch and stole a base.
• Belted season’s first home run at nationally-ranked North Carolina State, Feb. 25, breaking up a shutout bid in the seventh inning.

As a freshman in 2016

• Govs opening day starter at catcher, ultimately appeared in 39 games and started 28 contests.
• First collegiate hit at Western Kentucky, March 22, the first game of a stretch that saw him post a hit in six of eight games.
• Had two RBI against Murray State, March 25, in 1-for-2 performance that also saw him post game-winning RBI with two-run double.
• Recorded first collegiate home run at Southern Illinois, March 29.
• Season’s only multi-hit outing was impressive 3-for-3 effort against Eastern Kentucky, April 22, with a triple and a walk as he reached base in all four plate appearances.

Career Recap: Houston HS

• Batted .263 as a senior with a .509 on-base percentage, recording 16 RBI.
• Helped lead Houston High School to the 2014 TSSAA State Tournament championship game as a junior, batting .400 in four state tournament games, finishing with two home runs and six RBI.
• Named to the Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association’s Region 7/8 Team and represented Tennessee in the Border War Games in Atlanta.
• Prepped under head coach Lane McCarter.
• Played summer baseball with Dulins Dodgers and coach Tim Dulin, earning WWBA All-Tournament honors in 2014 after batting .364 in the tournament.
