Jack Rushworth enters his first season as a graduate assistant coach for the Austin Peay State University women’s soccer team.

Rushworth is completing a Master of Science degree at Austin Peay, majoring in Health & Human Performance.

Rushworth has coaching experience at the college and youth levels, most recently working with Tennessee Wesleyan University’s women’s soccer team as volunteer assistant coach and goalkeeper coach. Rushworth helped guide the 2017 team to the NAIA National Quarterfinal round, the best ever post season finish for a TWU women’s athletic team in history.

At Tennessee Wesleyan, the 2017 starting goal keeper, McKenna Loges, was named All-Appalachian Athletic Conference and was an NAIA Academic All-American under his tutelage. Loges leads the TWU history books in most shutouts in a single season, and carries the title of allowing the 2nd least number of goals in a single season.

Rushworth’s youth coaching stints include age group coach and goalkeeper coach for McMinn Force and McMinn United clubs in Athens, TN, as well as roles with the Doncaster Rover Belles and i2i Football Academy in England.  He holds a TN State ‘E’ Coaching License.

Rushworth, hailing from York, England, played his college soccer at Tennessee Wesleyan University (2014-2018), and had a season playing semi-pro at the Knoxville Force in 2017.  Before his stint playing at TWU, Rushworth represented Selby Town FC in England, he was also selected to represent his district and county during his teenage years, and invited to attend English Colleges National Team trials.
