2024 | Austin Peay

  • Played in 13 games while starting nine finishing the year batting .375 with a pair of home runs and eight RBI.
  • Collected four doubles and a triple to help improve his slugging percentage to .675.
  • Found his way on base often as he walked seven times and tallied 15 hits for a .468 OBP and a 1.143 OPS.
  • Made his ’24 debut at Lipscomb (March 17) where he went 1-for-2 at the plate with an RBI single.
  • Had his first multi-hit game of the year versus Queens (March 24) where he collected a double and triple in his 2-for-5 performance.
  • Hit his first home run of the season against Bellarmine (April 7) with a three-run shot to right-center in his 2-for-3 three RBI day.
  • Went 2-for-6 at Middle Tennessee (April 16) with a home run and two RBI.
  • In his last game of the season, he went 4-for-5 against Alabama A&M (April 30) with a double and a pair of RBI while scoring three times.

2023 | Austin Peay

  • Played in 31 games, with 29 starts – 22 at first base, five at second base, and two at shortstop.
  • Batted .232 with three home runs and 22 RBI.
  • Opening Day starter at second base against Illinois State (Feb. 17) and went 1-for-3.
  • After Opening Day, started the next six games at first base before suffering an injury at Dallas Baptist (Feb. 25).
  • Missed 35 days due to injury and returned with a start at shortstop and a 2-for-5 performance against Bellarmine (April 2) with two hits in the Govs’ 14-run sixth inning.
  • Hit a walk-off single to cap a 4-for-6, two RBI performance against UT Martin (April 4).
  • Led Govs with six RBI in Central Arkansas series (May 5-7), posting three RBI in back-to-back games and hit his first APSU home run in the series finale.
  • Hit two home runs and provided Govs’ first three runs in the Lipscomb series finale (May 14).
  • Led Govs with 13 RBI and a .649 slugging percentage (4 2B, 3 HR) over the final 10 regular season games.

2022 | Cowley County CC

  • Played in 61 games at Cowley County Community College (Kan.) and batted .379 with four home runs and 50 RBI.
  • Helped Tigers reach the NJCAA Division I Championship Game and batted .346 (9-for-26) with a double and six RBI, including batting in a run in the final five games of the tournament.
  • Posted 23 multi-hit games, including 10 three-hit games and 4-for-5, four RBI performance against Seward County Community College (May 11).

2021 | Oklahoma State

  • Did not play in first collegiate season at Oklahoma State.
  • Played for the Pulaski River Turtles in the Appalachian League, a developmental league presented by MLB and USA Baseball, during the summer.

Prep Career

  • Played shortstop at Enid High School for his father and head coach Brad Gore.
  • An Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association Large West All-State Team selection during COVID shortened 2020 season.
  • Also selected to play in the OBCA All-State game in 2020 and was named the event’s Most Valuable Player.
  • Finished prep career ranked the No. 3 shortstop in Oklahoma by Perfect Game.

  • Conner Don Gore is the son of Brad and Dana Gore.
