Biography

2006: As a sophomore, Black played in 10 games, starting in four... in two of her starts, she helped the Lady Govs defense post a pair of shutouts, Sept. 26 vs. Belmont and Oct. 8 vs. Eastern Illinois.

2005: Black played in 10 games, starting against Evansville... suffered an ACL tear, which kept her out for most of the season.

2004: Black did not play in 2004 due to injury.

High School: Another Lady Gov addition from a Blackman High School team that captured the District 7AAA championship. Black was a second-team all-district selection her senior year... A hard-working, aggressive defender with good size, she will add depth to the defense.

Personal: The daughter of Richard and Lori Black... born July 30, 1986.. accounting and marketing major.
