As a sophomore in 2015-16: Govs best perimeter and free-throw shooter as freshman has added ball-handling skills as a sophomore... Despite 5-of-15 shooting at Indiana, reached double figures for the first time in 2015 against the Hoosiers, coupled with a career-high four assists... Blitzed IPFW for 25 points that included four three-pointers and a 9-for-9 showing from the charity stripe... Bounced back from an off-night against Cal Poly to post a 17 point effort against Northern Colorado, hitting 6-of-9 from the floor... Made half his shots from the floor for the first time this season against Oakland City, going 7-of-14 for 16 points... Played a career-high 37 minutes at Troy, hitting 7-of-16 from the floor on the way to 17 points... Provided a nice complement to Horton at Lipscomb, scoring 21 points on a season-best 53.3 percent (8-of-15) shooting... In scoring a career-high 30 points against Wofford, he hit a career-best 77.8 percent (7-for-9) from the floor and set a Dunn Center record by going 14-for-14 from the free throw line... In a career-high 39 minutes, career-highs in assists (four) and rebounds (eight) to go along with his 16 points against Tennessee Tech... Failed to record a three-pointer in back-to-back games for the first time since Dec. 2014 after going three-less against TSU and Belmont... The St. Louis native led the Govs with 22 points in his homecoming against SIU Edwardsville... Led the Govs with 18 points and a career-high 5 assists to propel the Govs into the postseason with a win against SEMO... Scored 25 points on 9-for-16 shooting, including a stretch of seven straight points, in the OVC semifinals against Belmont... 20 points, mostly through free-throw prowess (10-of-12) to help APSU clinch its OVC Championship against UT Martin... Averaged 20.5 ppg after Jan. 21... poured in a game-high 24 points, hitting 7-for-16 from the floor, in the Governors NCAA Tournament loss to top-seeded Kansas.
As a freshman in 2014-15: Govs' second-leading scorer (9.9 ppg) in first APSU season...played in all 30 games, mostly coming off bench...started six contests, including season's final two contests...scored double figures 16 times, including OVC stretch of six games...was Govs' best free-throw shooter at 76.5 percent...averaged 12.1 ppg during league play, shooting 37 percent (29 of 78) from three-point range and 78.4 percent (40 of 51) from free-throw line...came off bench in opener against Western Kentucky and finished with 12 points, including three three-pointers...scored in double figures (11) points for second time at Illinois...ended with 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting and a pair of threes against Stephen F. Austin...exploded for season-high 23 points, including a career-high seven three-pointers, to lead Govs win against Oakland City, Dec. 18..earned OVC Freshman of the Week honors for Dec. 22 after averaging 11.3 points in three games against Troy, Oakland City and Lipscomb...notched 100th career point against North Florida...acquitted himself nicely in OVC debut against Jacksonville State, scoring nine points on 3-of-4 shooting...scored 13 points and knocked down four three-pointers at Tennessee Tech..made first career start against Tennessee State, scoring team-high 15 points and hitting four three-pointers...In homecoming of sorts, St. Louis native posted team-high 17 points at SIU Edwardsville, putting him in double figures for the fourth straight game...after scoring 11 points in Govs road win at EIU earned second OVC Freshman of Week honor...led Govs with 15 points against UT Martin, largely because of 8-for-9 showing at the free-throw line...in rematch against the Skyhawks, hit 8-for-18 from the floor, including 4-for-8 from beyond the arc, on way to game-high 21 points, his second 20-point outing...scored 12 points, including 6-of-6 free-throw performance against Murray State, Feb. 21...scored 13 points off bench at Eastern Kentucky before starting season's final two games at point guard against SIUE and SEMO.
High School: Played guard for Ed Perniciaro at St. Mary’s…as senior, averaged 35.8 points a game to lead the St. Louis metro area in scoring, shooting 48 percent (279 of 584) from the field including 61 three pointers…shot 80 percent (205 of 255) from the free-throw line...also averaged 7.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists…eclipsed the 50-point mark on three different occasions…selected first-team Class 4A Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association All-State as well as Missouri Basketball Coaches Association All-State…also chosen St. Louis Post Dispatch All-Metro team along with St. Louis American Fab Five Boys First-Team All-Stars… selected Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year by the Archdiocesan Athletic Association Large Division…as junior averaged 25.4 ppg as a junior, shooting 49 percent from the floor (234 of 477) and 33 percent (49 of 150) from three-point range… got to the free throw line 185 times, connecting on 78 percent of those free tosses…also was team’s second-leading rebounder (6.6 rpg) while also doling out 2.1 assists and collecting 1.0 steals per games…named Class 4A second-team Missouri All-State… chosen Archdiocesan Athletics Association (AAA), Large Division Offensive Player of the Year as well as being selected all-conference. .. left St. Mary’s as all-time leading scorer with 1,959 points…his 56 single-game points set the school mark…also was program’s all-time free-throw leader.
