Career Recap: Austin Peay
As a senior in 2024:
- Appeared in all 19 matches where she made 18 starts and 1,618 minutes.
- Tallied her season’s first assist in Austin Peay’s 1-1 draw against UT Martin (Aug. 25).
- Scored her first goal of the season in her career’s only appearance off the bench at Lindenwood (Sept. 1), where she also had three shots and a pair of shots on goal.
- Dished out an assist at Jacksonville (Oct. 6), before finding the back of the net once again against Stetson (Oct. 10).
- Finished her senior campaign with a career-best two goals, six points, 25 shots, and 13 shots on goal while tying career-high marks with two assists and 18 starts.
- Concluded her collegiate career fourth all-time in starts (74), seventh in games played (75), and second in minutes played (6,580).
As a junior in 2023:
- A Third Team All-ASUN and All-Freshman Team selection. She and Aniyah Mack – a Second Team All-ASUN honoree – became the first Governors to receive ASUN postseason recognition in program history.
- One of two players to start in all 21 matches, extending her starting streak to 54 matches.
- Led the Governors with a career-high 1,885 minutes played, going the distance 18 times, including in each of the first 12 games of the season.
- Tallied her first-career assist on Annabel Anderson’s game-winner against Lindenwood, Aug. 20.
- Had her second assist of the season at North Dakota, Aug. 27. Also fired a career-high three shots in the 1-1 draw against the Fighting Hawks.
- Scored her first-career game-winner in the 81st minute against North Alabama, Oct. 1.
- Matched her career-high with 110 minutes played against Kennesaw State in the first round of the ASUN Conference Women’s Soccer Championship, Oct 26.
- Helped the Govs post five shutouts while anchoring the defensive unit.
As a sophomore in 2022:
- The anchor of a Governors defense that posted six shutouts – tied for the fourth most in a season in program history.
- One of seven Governors to start all 18 matches.
- Logged a team-best 1,606 minutes. She the distance 17 times, including in all 10 ASUN matches.
- Led all APSU defenders with 14 shots and eight shots on goal, which ranked eighth and seventh on the team, respectively.
- Recorded her shot on goal in the season opener at Miami (OH), Aug. 18, and helped APSU earn its first shutout of the season.
- Matched her career-high with two shots at Middle Tennessee, Sept. 4.
- Recorded a career-high two shots on goal on as many attempts against Alabama A&M, Sept. 11, leading APSU to its second win and fourth shutout.
- Recorded at least one shot on goal in four-straight matches from Oct. 2-13.
- Scored her first-career goal in the 22nd minute at Stetson, Oct. 13.
As a freshman in 2021:
- One of two Governors to start all 17 matches, she played a team-leading 1,475 minutes.
- Played a season-high 110 minutes in 1-1 draws with Evansville, Sept. 9, and Tennessee Tech, Oct. 14.
- Played 59 minutes and anchored a Governors’ defense that held Alabama A&M to just two shots – with no shots on goal – in a 3-0 victory.
- Took the first two shots of her collegiate career – with one on target – in the win at Alabama A&M.
- Played a full 90 minutes in the Govs’ 3-0 shutout win against Eastern Illinois, Oct. 21.
Career Recap: Fountain Hills HS
A three-year team captain at Fountain Hills High School… was a Second Team All-State performer as a freshman, before garnering First Team All-State honors in each of the next two seasons… a two-time Arizona Interscholastic Association 3A Central Region Defensive Player of the Year and All-Region selection… played club soccer for Phoenix Rising GU18/U19 of the ECNL.

Lindsey Taylor McMahon is the daughter of Jarrod and Becky McMahon… has one sibling, Kailey, who plays volleyball at Wyoming… born May 14… a kinesiology major with a concentration in exercise science.
