Career Recap: Austin Peay
As a junior in 2017:

• Appeared in two matches (three sets).
• Posted two digs and an assist in first outing, Sept. 2, against Western Illinois.
• Notched another two digs in season’s other outing, Sept. 27, at Alabama A&M.

As a sophomore in 2016:

• Appeared in eight matches (13 sets) during season.
• Credited with a kill and two digs at Eastern Kentucky, Oct. 1.
• Saw action in two matches at both the Troy and Evansville tournaments.

As a freshman in 2015:

• Saw action in 14 matches (32 sets) and started four outings.
• Recorded 42 digs (1.31 per set) as a defensive specialist.
• Started back-to-back matches, Sept. 19, at Memphis Invitational and recorded seven digs against Mississippi State followed by season-best 11-dig performance against Southern Miss.
• Posted nine-dig outing in start at Jacksonville State, Oct. 31, and did not commit an error on 13 service receipts.

The daugher of Mike and Becky Thornton... born Nov. 18... has two older siblings: Cara and Jessica... her sister Jessica ran track and cross country for Southern College... majoring in business.
