2024 | Austin Peay

  • Played in 54 games, starting 52, batting .353 on the year with 11 home runs and 48 RBI.
  • Of his 72 hits on the year, he collected 14 doubles and a triple to help give him a .593 slugging percentage.
  • Started the season going three games straight with an RBI in each game, going 2-for-5 in the series against Western Illinois (February 16-18) while also bagging his first home run on the year.
  • Hit for the cycle going a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate against Gonzaga (February 26) and collecting three RBI.
  • Tied his season-high five RBI in a game after going 4-for-5 against Auburn (March 9) with three singles and a double.
  • Had another five RBI day against Queens (March 22) after going 3-for-3 at the plate with a double and home run.
  • Went three games straight with three hits against Jacksonville (April 13 & 14) and Middle Tennessee (April 16), going 9-for-13 (.692) blasting a pair of homers and collecting six RBI.

2023 | Austin Peay

  • Started all 58 games at third base, batted .286 with five home runs, 28 RBI, and stole 17 bases.
  • Began his Austin Peay career with a six-game hit streak (Feb. 17-25) which saw him bat .310 (9-29).
  • Stole four bases at Murray State (March 22), one shy of Kent Brown’s program record set in 1997.
  • Hit his first APSU home run against Bellarmine (April 2) and enjoyed his first three-hit day as a Governor.
  • Supplied a two-run homer in the eighth inning and a two-run single in the ninth inning in the Jacksonville series opener (April 21) and went 2-for-6 with four RBI.
  • Pieced together a 10-game hit streak (April 18-May 6), which saw him bat .400 (18-of-45), with four consecutive multi-hit games, as his average moved from .242 to .280.
  • Hit a home run in back-to-back games against Florida Gulf Coast (April 29-30) and batted .50-0 (6-for-12) during the series.
  • Closed season with a hit in seven of the final eight games, batting .429 (12-for-28), including a 5-for-11 performance in the Govs’ three ASUN Baseball Championship outings.
  • Hit his fifth home run of 2023 against Lipscomb (May 14) in a 3-for-5 performance.

2022 | Grand Canyon

  • Played 12 games, starting three, for the ‘Lopes as a utility player.
  • Made first start against Stanford (April 23) starting game at second base before moving to left field.
  • Recorded first hit at GCU in a start against Arizona State (May 10) and went 1-for-4 with a run scored.
  • Also posted a hit off the bench against Seattle (May 20), going 1-for1 with a walk and run scored.

2021 | Northern Oklahoma-Enid

  • Earned Second Team NJCAA Division II All-America honors after batting .408 with 16 home runs and 51 RBI in 54 games.
  • Had a pair of two-homer outings: March 25 against Murray State College and March 27 at Murray State College.
  • Pieced together a 16-game hit streak (March 27-April 18) which included four-hit days at Murray State (March 27) and Arkansas-Rich Mountain (April 15).
  • Ended season on a tear with a nine-game hit streak and hits in 12 of his last 14 games, batting .446 (25-of-56) over those final 14 games with four doubles, three triples, five home runs, 14 RBI, and 22 runs scored.

2020 | Northern Oklahoma-Enid

  • Batted .441 with four home runs, 15 RBI, and 29 runs scored during the COVID-19 shortened season.

Prep Career            

  • As a senior in 2019, earned Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association Large West All-State recognition.
  • He led his team in hits (42), doubles (10), triples (5), walks (22) and runs scored (37).
  • On the mound in 2019, he had three saves and made just four errors on 111 chances.

  • Ambren Voitik is the son of Brendan Voitik and Amy Nelson.
  • Birthday is Jan. 8.
  • He has a daughter, Sloane, with his girlfriend Victoria Stafford.
